I loved the stain pattern on the board in the picture. Granted I know there is going to be some variation, mine was wrecked with stain. They applied so much, that I could smell it THROUGH the packaging it was sent in. In addition they applied it way to thick, removing a lot of the natural wood design and just making it more like a paint job.I did not ask for a replacement because I do still use it. The smell has decreased quite a bit, however they use a soft wood, not a hard wood. Thus any little bump, fall, and sliding actions, cause damage to the wood. All and all I got what I paid for. In the future I will be spending more the get something a bit more sturdy with more time and love put into it. This wood piece has that "Mass Production" feel to it, and as any good wood worker will tell you, Customers who have an eye for wood styling products, want that warm woody feel to it. Like it was hand crafted to perfection and not just made on an assembly line.Sorry but this product gets a 2 star from me, and will need to see SERIOUS improvement in quality, skill, and just the general time spent making each piece. Yes this means a higher price point, one I personally am willing to pay if it means I'm getting a quality piece.

Absolutely perfect. Not too big and not too larger. It fit my box, papers, grinder and ash tray well. Made of light weight durable wood. I would definitely recommend this.

The coloring is nice but for $30 bucks it's not worth it. Mine split in half, so clearly it's not very durable. Very disappointed.
