I was so disappointed. The knee pads have good padding but they gap at the bottom and are very uncomfortable on my daughter's leg. They are so stiff its hard to move/bend the knee. The main problem is that they gap and don't fit very well at the bottom. They are not low profile compared to the infinity or low profile Mizuno pads we own.

We've had prior volleyball knee pads and volleyball players go through pretty brutal beating during tournaments. These knee pads are not suitable for sports but maybe more for non sport related activities. This knee pad size was small/medium and it was heavy, very bulky, doesn't form to the knee, and the there's not much elasticity on the lower and upper part to secure the knee pads in place from sliding. If you try to bend your knees the pads slips downward. Compared the fabric on our current knee pad to the material used to cover this Afn brand, the fabric covering the gel part seems rather thin and would rip in no time. I decided to return it without having my kid use it knowing that the material wouldn't last and I'll very soon would need to buy a new one. In addition, this particular knee pad had an unbearable chemical smell. Would not recommend ANY volleyball player whether for recreation or for competitive to get this knee pad. Go with the volleyball maker brands that have tough durable and decent padding. The most common size used are small that would stay on the best. Knee pads need to have a nice snug fit but doesn't cut off the blood circulation. The one positive thing I would have to say is that it was definitely easy, hassle free return, and quick refund.

As a 6' man with fairly strong legs these are just barely big enough. If they slip at all it either won't cover the top of my shin or the kneecap. I also worry about tearing the pads when I put them on - I've already heard a couple of rips, and I've only worn them a handful of times.

I was looking for a good knee pad that actually does the work and is comfortable. I mainly use this to dance Hip hop thus we have power drop moves that the whole body crashes to the floor. After looking at most of the major brands and not to mention how much they cost for the low quality they are, I decided to buy these instead.1. They sit snug and comfy2. I have dropped and chaffed my knees around wooden floor, still no impact on the knee3. I have banged my knee to a concrete wall and again... still no impact on the knee.4. These are thin... you almost can't see them under your trousers... but don't let the thinness fool you, these do the work.I'm still breaking them in as I just got them 1 hour ago, but so far I have no problems with mobility.Customer service... I am very very big when it comes to sincerity and I can tell over the phone that this company made this productout of passion and wanting to do the right thing to contribute to the community. I was on the phone for 90 minutes today and there's no sign whatsoever that the rep wanted me off the phone, in fact he was very happy to talk about their products and answering my questions.THIS is what makes a good company and product line. I believe that they will do their best to pump out more great products and take care offaults whenever they occur.

Bought these for my daughter who is a club/travel team player, 8th grader. Bought medium. Shock absorption is very good and much better than eva foam pads. Her previous knee pads were Mizuno but she kept getting bruised knees during a day of playing at tournaments. Some cautions - make sure you air them out before you wear - strong chemical odor. I left them in a 3 season sunroom for a few days in winter. Make sure you put them on the right way with large opening up top. She reversed them one day and they slid down and she got an abrasion on her knee. And finally, they feel very stiff at first but loosen up after playing. I left one star off because I don't know about durability but will re-post negative/positive after some wear.UPDATE - after a few tournaments have developed a tear and gel is poking through. Looks like durability a problem - I will contact company and post results.WOW - talk aboout outstanding customer service! Company contacted me right away and said they will ship out replacement immediately plus provide a complimenatry pair with their new Cordova covering in 2-3 weeks. Looks like they are building a lieftime customer! Rating goes to 5 stars!

shock absorption is great, but the fit is off. these are very petite in coverage, but slip off my knees. the elastic also started sticking out of the kneepad after the second use :(
