I bought this cord for my mom to take with her when she travels. I have purchased several other types of cords for her, all retractable for travel purposes, as they are always compact and tangle free. This cord was HUGE comparatively, about the size of an ice breaker tin. I honestly think wrapping up a normal cord with a twist tie would have been more compact. That being said, this will still be tangle free, and it functions perfectly to hook up her cell phone or laptop to an HDMI capable TV.

This is a great cable with a great selection of adapters. This is also the first cable I have had where I appreciated having the auto-retract. It is very sturdy and tangle-free.My one, sizeable, complaint is that when I use this cable at the same time I have the charger plugged in to my laptop the picture quality always drops. It begins to snow on my monitor, eventually degrading to no picture. I did a lot of testing and the one common denominator I found was this cable, while using the DVI adapter.

I purchased this specifically so that I could plug my Kindle HD into various TVs, computers, etc. I am a photographer and videographer and I use my Kindle to show my clients my portfolio or finished images/video from their session.Unfortunately one of my kids pulled the micro hdmi clip out of my kindle at a harsh angle. This successfully damaged the clip! I couldn't find a replacement anywhere online, so I called ReTrak to see if they could help me. I had to leave a message but they got back to me after a day or so and told me that the entire system is under Lifetime Warranty - so they would mail me the part for free. I am now a VERY happy customer and recommend this system/company highly.

This is not the highest quality HDMI cable. I have found that some HDMI cables lose signal between some TV's and some devices. This one produced an intermittent signal between my laptop and my TV, which made it impossible to watch a movie that way. I swapped out for a good HDMI cable from my stash, and there was no further loss of signal (so I know it was this cable at fault). However, I've used it in other situations, and it works. Just be aware that you need to test the configuration before you rely on this cable to work for a high-pressure situation (like a presentation, etc.)

I have a variety of devices that have Full sized, Mini, and Micro HDMI outputs, and a number of monitors, some with HDMI, some with only DVI . . . and THIS cable handles the whole bailiwick! Truly an awesome product . . . and HARD to find too! Most places are upwards of $40 for this particular cable. The clips work VERY well & can be moved to either end . . . even "fold" off to the side staying attached to the cable so the adapters aren't lost as you move this from device to device, home to office to hotel, etc.

Great design, great product. 6-foot long flat HDMI cable retracts down to a small package. Has adapter tips to fit mini- and micro-HDMI as well as DVI monitors. The tips can attach semi-permanently to each end of the cable, but flip out of the way when you don't need them. I have the DVI attached to one end for when I want to attach to a DVI monitor and the mini-HDMI attached to the other for when I want to connect to my camera - but without detaching, I can still use both standard HDMI ends.

I use this with my Samsung Note to HDMI out to larger monitors. I've had a number of lower quality HDMI cables that have had issues with this setup, but this cable seems to be working great so far. Good enough that I just bout 2 more. Also tried out some of the adapters that come with the cable and all seem to work as expected so far.I have recommended this to my boss and he has also bought one.
