Excellent product and customer team
I bought one and it lasted a decent amount of time. There were some bugs and some things that didnโt work, but once I contacted customer support. They got everything fixed! When I tell you that they are the most accommodating people, I truly mean that. Iโve had the second one for a few weeks now, and it works like a dream. Definitely worth it!

Professional Smoothness for Family Memories | AI Tracking is a Game-Changer
The Bottom Line: The ultimate "set it and forget it" gimbal for parents and creators. The AI tracking is so reliable that you can actually be in the family videos instead of just filming them from the sidelines. The "Family Video" Test: I use the Flow 2 Pro constantly for family videos, and it has completely changed how I document our lives. Whether Iโm chasing the kids around the backyard or filming at a crowded event, the stabilization turns shaky handheld footage into smooth, cinematic clips. Key Performance Observations: AI Tracking (Deep Track 3.0): This is the standout feature. I can lock the gimbal onto a child or a pet, and it follows them flawlesslyโeven if they move behind an object or turn around. It takes the stress out of framing. Apple DockKit Integration: This is a huge win for iPhone users. It allows the gimbal to integrate directly with the native iOS camera app and other apps like FaceTime or TikTok without needing to always jump into the Insta360 app. It makes the workflow much faster. 360ยบ Infinite Pan: Unlike other gimbals that hit a "stop" point, this can rotate indefinitely. Itโs perfect for capturing the full scale of a volleyball gym or a large family gathering without the hardware getting in the way. Creator Bundle Value: The built-in tripod and the fill light included in the bundle make this a complete "studio in a pocket." The foldable design means I can actually fit it in a jacket pocket or my volleyball gear bag without a second thought.

UPDATED REVIEW MONTH LATER: Malfunctioned Straight Out of the Box โ Never Even Got to Use It
UPDATE: The seller was so gracious, refunded me for the trouble and also sent me a new Insta 360 Flow 2. I am most grateful they VOLUNTEERED to do this. Now I am enjoying this little gimbal so much! original review below, I clearly got a lemon, but they fixed it. All I did was gently extend the selfie stickโฆ and boom, it freaked out like a caffeinated flamingo with a spinal injury. The camera started spinning, twitching, and NEVER rebalanced itself again. Thatโs right โ it never once stabilized properly, never worked as advertised, and never recovered. Reboots? Resets? Firmware check? Standing on one leg and chanting to the tech gods? Tried it all. Nothing helped. Itโs bulky, touchy, temperamental, and feels like it was designed to test your patience more than anything else. For something marketed as "professional," this was an embarrassing display of incompetence โ by the hardware AND the company that released it. If I wanted to watch something collapse under pressure without explanation, Iโd revisit my last relationship โ not pay hundreds for a supposed โsmartโ camera that breaks its neck on day one. Returning it and going back to fire, rocks, and common sense. Avoid this disaster-in-a-box unless you enjoy rage.

Great Tech, But a Major Balancing Flaw Makes it Unusable
Initial Impressions (5/5): When I first purchased the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro Grey, I was incredibly excited. The build quality, foldable design, and underlying AI technology promised a top-tier phone gimbal experience. Everything about the construction feels premium, and the features list is impressiveโit truly felt like a great product that would elevate my phone videography. The Portability Hiccup (3/5): My first disappointment came with the included clip phone attachment. While functional, traveling with it was a pain. Itโs bulky, makes the gimbal pocket out uncomfortably, and worse, my phone would often not stay properly balanced with it attached, forcing me to constantly re-adjust. I decided to stop using the gimbal for a while until I purchased the dedicated Insta360 Flow 2 Pro/Flow 2 Magnetic Phone Mount, hoping this would solve the portability and quick-mount issues. It certainly made carrying easier. The Critical Flaw (1/5): Unfortunately, the ease of carrying didn't fix the fundamental balancing problem, especially when using a larger device. I use the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a Shift Lens clear case. I consistently find that the motors do not keep the phone balanced. This issue persists even when I take the time to mount it without the protective case. The MagSafe attachment is less than perfect and barely improves stability. Forcing me to use the phone without a case provides an added risk just to try and get basic functionality. I end up having to calibrate the gimbal after just a few minutes of usage. This completely defeats the purpose of a quick-access, ready-to-shoot device. Instead of focusing on the shot, Iโm constantly waiting for the app to recalibrate the axis drift. Final Verdict: Because of this persistent flaw, I have not used the Flow 2 Pro nearly as often as I intended. I suspect my unit might be defective, but I missed the return window and am now stuck with a beautiful but flawed piece of equipment. Is anyone else experiencing this significant calibration or balancing issue? It's frustrating to be sitting on an item with such potential that is currently unusable for reliable filming.

Phenomenal Gimbal Hardware Held Back by a Cluttered App Experience!
As a business owner and content creator launching a new channel, I needed a gimbal that could deliver professional-level stabilization without an intimidating learning curve. The Insta360 Flow Pro 2 delivers exactly that on the hardware front; it is nothing short of phenomenal. The AI tracking kit works beautifully, especially when paired with an iPhone and Apple DockKit. The tracking is fluid, accurate, and smartly responsive. I tested it across various scenarios, and it performs best in the Insta360 native app, where it can even track multiple subjects. However, in apps like WhatsApp video calls, I noticed it can only track a single subject, something to keep in mind for those using this outside the Insta360 ecosystem. That said, the major weak point is not the gimbal, it is the Insta360 mobile app. For someone who is not a seasoned videographer, the app experience can be overwhelming. There is a lack of beginner-friendly onboarding. While it technically has tutorial videos, they are not structured in a way that supports someone starting from zero. A step-by-step guide or a 'beginner mode' toggle would go a long way. I also found the user interface to be cluttered with unnecessary elements, such as social features, discovery feeds, and persistent update banners (like the one advertising version 2.0, without any easy way to check what version I am on). For business users or creators who just want to shoot, edit, and post efficiently, the bloat detracts from what could otherwise be a frictionless workflow. Pros: -Gimbal hardware is top-tier - smooth, stable, and thoughtfully engineered -AI tracking kit is excellent, especially with iPhone + DockKit -Physical build quality is solid and professional -Multiple-subject tracking available (within native app) Cons: -App is not beginner-friendly - steep learning curve -No easy way to verify app version despite persistent prompts -Cluttered interface with social feed and other distractions -Limited AI tracking in third-party apps (e.g., WhatsApp) Final Verdict: If you are an experienced creator, you will love this gimbal. If you are a beginner, be prepared to invest some time learning your way around the app, or hoping for a major update to improve usability. Regardless, the hardware itself is phenomenal and earns my recommendation.

AWESOME KIT.
Works really well with an IPhone 17. Follows your image well. I had no issues with getting it to work. The carrying pouch is perfect for transporting it safely.

The best for the cost. Well worth it!
I have used a number of gimbles. This is by far my favorite. Especially for following kids sports. Also love the 360, remote control, Panoramic and many other settings that are fast to set up. Can't beat it for the price.

Fantastic Compact Gimbal
Just picked up the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro and Iโm impressed. Itโs a fantastic compact gimbal that grips my phone securely and gives me smooth, high-quality footage straight away. The build feels premium yet it folds down small for easy carrying. Solid design and performance. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect investment for upgrading your smartphone videos
purchased the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro to improve the quality of smartphone video, and it has been a solid investment. Setup was straightforward, and the magnetic phone mount feels secure and well designed. Once balanced, the stabilization is excellent, especially for walking shots, slow pans, and filming on the go. The subject tracking works consistently and keeps the frame locked without constant adjustments, which is particularly helpful for solo filming. The controls are intuitive after a short learning curve, and the app offers enough flexibility without feeling overwhelming. Battery life easily lasts through a full day of casual filming, and the built-in tripod and extendable handle are practical additions that reduce the need for extra gear. The foldable design also makes it easy to pack for travel or everyday use. A couple of minor considerations, it is slightly heavier than entry-level gimbals, and it takes a bit of practice to get comfortable with all the modes. That said, performance more than makes up for it. Overall, this gimbal delivers smooth, professional-looking footage and feels thoughtfully engineered. A strong choice for anyone serious about improving mobile video quality, whether for content creation, work, or personal use.

Hoping the new model is better
Itโs good but the bad side is the battery, you need to charge it all the time.
