My daughter has taken to doing home work while sitting in bed listening to music. This portable desk works great! She loves it. She takes it all around the house as well. From a purchaser prospective, it's durable and well made, light weight, attractive, neat and clean in it's appearance. I recommend it highly for those who prefer an alternate/more comfy study area than at the desk or kitchen table.

Bought these to occasionally eat dinner/snacks on the couch! My daughter and I love them! She has also used it to do her homeschool lessons on. Very sturdy. I fold them up and store them under my couch!

If the area of the desk was just a little bigger and the height was adjustable, I would have given it a 5/5, but it's still a good lap desk.
