My little guy loves this
This is our second purchase of this book because we wore out the first one through regular play. To increase durability, I put the people on magnetic sheets, which also added a new dimension to playing: fridge magnets!

fun but not a real paper doll book
This is fun but not a real paper doll book. Sixteen artists are each given one page on cardboard stock. Each page depicts the artist standing, a few props and some factoids. For instance, the van Gogh page has an easel, three heads of Vincent's based on self-portraits, a paint palette, a chair and some sunflowers; we are told his style is Post-Impressionism, a famous work is The Starry Night, and he cut off his left ear (though the page depicts his right ear as cut off). Artists are in chronological order by their birth year, and they are: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Degas, Cezanne, Monet, van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Matisse, Picasso, Duchamp, O'Keefe, Escher, Dali, Pollock and Lichtenstein. Each artist seems to have a paper-doll slotted stand and cut-outable props, but none of that is practicable. It is meant as an illusion and an entertainment. You are not meant to actually cut them out.So this is perfect as a gag gift, but if you give it to someone who actually wants to play with paper dolls, this is not for them!

Great gift! Much cheaper on Amazon!
Another gift gift I found in a store but it was significantly cheaper on Amazon! My mom is an art teacher and this was a great hit with her! There are so many outfits for the artists and accessories for them too. I don't know if my mom will actually take them out of the book or leave them in to keep them nice but either way this was a pretty funny gift at a great price!

Super fun and super quality!
Granddaughters loved this one and the other two paper doll books I got for Thanksgiving fun for the girls, and we were all delighted at the super slick quality, the high grade paper and bright colors...excellent and worth every penny. Would recommend this to all grandmas with lists for Xmas!

Fun with art
This is a fun little book, a great silly gift for an artist. I gave it to one for Christmas and he loved it. It might also work for older children who are interested in art, as it does give some information about the artists.

A fun introduction, but a bit impractical to cut them ...
This is a very amusing set of 'cut out' artists with items to pinpoint some of the most important/well known aspects of their work. A fun introduction, but a bit impractical to cut them all out. I would suggest one to keep, one to play with. A very good price compared with other sites made this a an excellent purchase.

Not dolls for kids
It's a very nice present for someone interested in art, there are some fun facts about painters and it's done with a sense of humour. It is in no way a toy for kids, it's really something to look and enjoy.

wonderful, very funny
Si tratta di un delizioso libriccino, non davvero per giocare, ma da ammirare. Un regalino scherzoso per gli amanti della storia dell'arte.
