I solved the issue by just adding (2) 1/4"-5/16" wide nuts to space the two bottom bracket attachments, aiming the lamp higher to achieve a 32" vertical measurement. Center the beam at 32" with the bike level and seated on bike on a wall like your garage door. You can test this procedure with the front fairing panel off the bike after the lamp is installed.
