Just what Today's woman needs to eat smart and exercise for a happy body
Okay ladies, if you want a guide to get you to your fat-loss goals and a body you feel good about showing off then this is the book for you! I've been reading many books on diet and exercise and this book takes all the confusion and fad out of dieting. The book teaches you now to eat right without depriving yourself, how to exercise without spending hours in the gym, and how to make the rest of your life work for your fat-loss efforts instead of against it. When you know the "why" behind your actions, you're more inclined to "doing" those actions.I personally love this book and am recommending it to my clients and giving it as gifts to girlfriends. It is to the point, which I love, and very helpful in improving my overall life...not just losing weight.

Love it. A bit high priced.
Love everything but the price...

Prefer the Cavewoman book to this
I bought both books at the same time and this to me was kind of a waste of money. It's more general in it's information compared to the Cavewoman book. To be fair to the author though I should have bought this book first and I would have given a better review.A third of the book is a journal of what you're eating.

Save your money and time.
I have never written a bad review before but I feel that this book makes it necessary. From recommending cutting out all gluten to encouraging readers to skip their yearly flu shot, this book is full of opinions without any scientific background. This book will NOT help you be healthier. All this book contains is fraudulent health information that will be ineffective at best and harmful at worst. Save your money.

Seriously good!!!
The media could not be loaded. Never mind the haters in the reviews. This is a holistic, nutritionally accurate book. If you’re from the traditional American medical community that has been trained by our sickly healthcare system you may not like this book. I’ve had a lot of experience, trying different things and see a triple certified integrative naturopath who is also trained in traditional Medicine and I have found that a lot of things in her book are consistent with what I’ve been advised. I love the food journal in the back, the meal plans, and the suggestions for supplements according to what your specific goals are. I’ve read this book over and over and refer to it in different seasons of my health journey. I give this book a five star review! You will be happy that you read it and apply it’s principles .

Simple and nutritious menus are presented. I appreciate this ...
Simple and nutritious menus are presented. I appreciate this because it is very stressful for me to create menus. The book is filled with practical information about healthy living.

The pink helps!
I have to say I have known for many years the only way to lose a few unwanted pounds is to keep track of what you eat and this book is no exception to that golden rule. It has a great no nonsense yet humorous take on eating and living well which makes it all the easier to use. Jotting down all your unnecessary nibbles was never more enjoyable due to the pink pages, the "ticking" of the food groups and of course the "gratitude sentence" at the end of each page. Very rarely has anything involving cutting down on food made me smile....but this does. So treat yourself, you worth it.

Fun approach to improving health and fitness
Directed at women of all ages this book gives the reader a good insight into how food, supplements and daily lifestyle can affect ones health and longevity. The supplements section really helped me in working out which ones to take with quantities and particular substances for fat loss, bloating, energy boosts, detox and other circumstances. There are meal plans and guides near the back of the book for people wanting different goals if its to lose weight, get leaner, detox or just get healthier. There is also a log you can use to help you progress towards your goals.Overall, I think this a very helpful book for a wide range of people (even men can pick up some tips) whether your looking for a healthy lifestyle book or trying to find extra tips on supplements, meal plans for weight training. It can be very hard to find a informative book on healthy living for women and its a delight to have found one that has filled in some gaps in my knowledge on a healthy lifestyle.Do note that this is not a book is not filled with workout plans for the gym. It does give you a basis to work on, but It mainly deals with food, supplements and pschiological elements of healthy living.A really good book and one that I have passed on to my mother and sister.

Good not great
Her first book eat drink and be gorgeous is much better and all encompassing. This book doesn't stand alone very well I kept referring back to the afore mentioned book. That being said if you have both then they are great! The food journal at the back is awesome though not really a necessity. Overall I love this author and recommend giving her books a try.
