They don't stay on.
I bought two sets of different initials for my identical twins. The steam is LONG, I thought it was because they are 2, but I tried it on and yes they are very long. Also, the backs wouldn't stay on, the earrings fell out after the first 10 mins. I used rubber backs that have fit every earring I have ever owned, they still fell off and we ended up loosing one. I have had several pairs of earrings for my girls and haven't lost one yet, girls have had their ears pierced since they were 4 months (different earrings helps others to tell them apart) and don't play with them. They need to use a different gauge of steam and shorten it.
