great for viewing the cardboard tech, could use a comfort upgrade
Overall these are good. They do the intended job and they feel sturdy for being plastoc. The nose endention is either made for a small child, or a very small nosed adult. There is an edge at the top of the nose area that puts a lot of pressure on your nose that leaves a mark even after a few seconds of use. I put a piece of foam right at the site each time I plan to use them which helps. I can usually go about 10 minutes at the most before the pain sets in and I have to take a break. I use these to show the technology to all my friends etc and the second comment is always "it hurts your nose though." The first comment is always "wow" so I give 3 stars, even if only for the sturdy feel to the plastic. I paid $30 and would buy them again for what I use them for. If I ever want to finish a whole movie I will need something else as it stands now.

Coulda Been a Contender!!
This headset has potential to be great but, there are a few flaws that make it just so-so. It does wear comfortably and there was no eyestrain after wearing it for a while. I realize they have to make it fit so many styles of phone so it does need to be tweaked to fit each phone. The ad says that it has bi-convex lenses which is not true, it has Fresnel lenses. There is a difference, especially in visual quality. Another thing is, there is no magnetic switch which is necessary in most VR apps. I also added a little foam to the nose relief and it helped with the comfort too. The head strap is comfortable and adjustable.Bottom line is... if this had real bi-convex lenses and a magnetic switch I would pay a bit more for it and give it 5 stars.

This has been a fun little toy
This has been a fun little toy!I like the adjustable straps on it. Makes it much more comfortable and convenient. The foam around the outer edge is nice as well. Makes it comfy, and blocks out ambient light. The only thing I have against it the fact that there's no foam, where it rests on the bridge of your nose. That's the one place that really needs it, because that's where all of the weight rests, and it's just hard plastic against the hard bridge of your nose.I wish it had the magnet, for use with the NFC. I knew it didn't have that, so I won't count that as a negative. Looking back on it though, I wish I had gotten a unit that had that.Other than that, it's been fun to play with, watch some 3D movies, and what not.You can even get an app that lets you watch regular movies with it. That's been fun, too.

Nice design for a Hackulous Thrift...
Nice design except for the nose. I suspect it was built with orientals in mind. Very uncomfortable nose indentation could use some padding as the edge sits squarely on the bridge of my nose. The Note or other large phones will likely fit snuggly yet smaller phones take a little bit of work to secure. The lenses don't seem to focus well and the description lead me to believe they were adjustable... they are not. This will likely do for a Hackulous Thrift but will need new lenses. The back inclosure will do well for securing a 6.5 LCD panel and other electronics can be secured on the outside. I don't regret the purchase yet there may be better buying options.

I payed $19 for this product. Not sure what price your looking at as the price can change at anytime after we post our review. But. It works as intented however I wouldn't buy a $60-$99 VR headset as the games are just not good yet and I tried cardboard apps and games that required a remote. I used my PS4 remote. Its definitely worth $19 though and it is decent. I expected garbage from reviews I read but that's just not the case. They expect their mind blown but the fact of the matter is developers just haven't created anything amazing to go with it. Its just something cool to fool with every now and then. Again do not go out and pay $99 even if its a Samsung gear. Trust me.

Pros: Does the job.The straps are adjustable and comfortable. Material is great (compared to cardboards and semi-professional 3D prints). And it is affordable.Cons: The nose part should get an additional foam piece. I solved it by sticking a silicon ear plug at that place. I use it with an iphone 6plus (with thin leather case) and Samsung S5. The S5 has a bulgy case so the magnetic lock does not work (I take duck tape). Without that case everything is fine.Additional tip:For IOS and Android there are many apps (e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/collection/promotion_3001011_cardboard_featured_apps). Google has also a development kit for Android (https://github.com/googlesamples/cardboard-java) and Unity (https://github.com/googlesamples/cardboard-unity). The quality comes close to the Oculus Rift for less money. Also checkout http://polarsea360.arte.tv/en/ for 360 degree nature movies.

Don't expect oculus rift...but is good start
The idea is really nice and it is impressive to be in a virtual world the design is also better than nothing the bad thing is first of all not really comfortable for nose unless you have a really small nose but still you will fill the plastic on it.The place to fix the screen is not really stable and it can move a little bit and the optics are not adjustable let's say you can't expect much more than a simple google dys cardboard...Io hope you will soon work for a better product and the tu biggest issue to work on are nose comfort and screen fix.bye

Great Google glass upgrade.
This is a great upgrade over the cardboard based Google Cardboard headsets. The lenses seem to work quite well, and with the face padding and headstrap it is fairly comfortable. It's able to accept very large phones as well. It fits my Nexus 6 just barely, with just enough room to not press the volume rocker.Only con I have with it is the nose piece. It can get a bit uncomfortable wearing it for more than 10min. I fixed this by taking a thin piece of foam and gluing it in place. Maybe a future version could have some sort of system in place.
