Clean My SoleGuard Waterproof Protection For Sneakers Repels Liquids & Stains On Nubuck Leather, Suede, Fabric, Canvas, Upholstery and more 7.5 Oz

I bought new sneakers and wanted to give them a coat of protection from the dusty, dirty streets of L.A. It doesn't rain here often so I am looking more to keep them from picking up flying dust and dirt from the cars that drive by. My last white shoes became very dirty on the top from my daily walks on clean sidewalks in a low traffic area.This was super easy to apply. If you can use a can of spray paint or hair spray, you can apply this. I sprayed them outside on the porch railing because this doesn't seem to be something you want to close yourself up in a room with while applying. It smells very chemical but after it dried I smell nothing on my shoes. It did not alter the color of my shoes. It's only been about a month, so far so good. I can't speak as to its effectiveness on the shoes from rain or liquid of any kind yet however, I can say the area of the porch railing where I sprayed them is now water repellent! I discovered this one day when using the water hose on the railing, which the science lover in the house found it to be awesome!The only negative is price. Way too expensive but if it works maybe its worth it. I'll update later.

The picture shows my husbands golf shoes. The shoe on the left is his newest...he's played two rounds in them in wet and muddy conditions. He treated them before his first round and has only had to use a damp cloth to wipe them clean. They do not pick up any significant amount of dirt or stains during the round at all. The shoe on the right has never been treated and the dirt stain in the pebbled area of the sole is impossible to clean completely. He even uses a stiff bristle brush to try and get into the cracks and crevices with no success.I've seen some of the reviews claiming the product is dangerous to pets and humans. Just use common sense when using it. Don't spray in enclosed areas and keep pets away until it is dry. We absolutely recommend this product and are delighted that we discovered it!

I bought a pair of leather suede shoes. On recommendation of other reviewers for those shoes, I bought this. Honestly, it works. So far my feet have been dry without any hassles.I applied three coats of this spray. On the same day and about 20 minutes apart. It smells slightly weird and the cats don't like it. But there has been no sticky residue or stains from using this.No complaints from me, so far.Just an update to say I ride a bike home from work every day. Yesterday we had a decent storm and the shoes worked out great.

Shoes have been treated by product but not yet tested.I have to wait and see.So far, product applies to shoes well.Can't even tell it is applied, so now tosee how well it repels.

So far so good, but there was barely enough for a second pair. Not impressed by how much they give, but overall impressed.

Works fine for water repellent but I purchased to protect my white canvas vans. I’m a hairstylist and frequently drop direct dye around me and on myShoes (non oxidative color so basically color conditioner) it didn’t repel that. I’ve tried other products that do I bought this one for the price. So it didn’t work for what I needed it for unfortunately

I used these to prep a pair of suede boots and walking sneakers for a London vacation. I was able to do two coats for these shoes but there wasn't much product afterwards. However! I accidentally stepped in a fairly large puddle and water didn't seep in, but I did get some water seepage on a particularly rainy day. Great for WATER RESISTANT, NOT WATER PROOF.

This is the second time we've purchased this product and we're very happy with it. We used the first bottle on some tennis shoes and when we got stuck in the rain, the tennis shoes stayed looking like new. So we used the rest of the bottle on our other shoes, hiking boots, our hats and backpack. Now we need more for my wife's purses and to have some on hand.
