Can mavic2 pro also zoom in and out? and does it come with extra 2 batteries like the mavic air 2?

The Mavic Pro 2 does not zoom in and out, the Mavic Pro Zoom does. I have both. The Zoom is the exact same aircraft with a different Camera set up. If you are doing inspections, or things where you need to stay away from objects, go with the zoom version. If you are shooting videos for production, I like the Mavic Pro 2 the camera has more options for post production and lens filters you can buy. Either way you will be happy they are awesome and easy to fly. I purchased the FlyMore package to get the extra batteries, normally it comes with 2.

Is it worth buying the smart controller? Or keeping with the standard controller

I've used the "standard" controller on the Mavic Pro using an IPad Pro and when I upgraded to the smart controller I find it does all the things the others noted in there answers, bright screen, ability to see in sunlight, and many other small things. I find the expand capabilities such as downloading programs to the SC worth it alone, ability to simplify the connections an additional plus. There are some things I don't like - as much, the screen is smaller then the IPad but very usable. The learning curve is also something to contend with but overall, a big yes to "is it worth the purchase."

Can one get propeller guards for the Mavic 2 Pro?

Yes, however with all the obstacle avoidance systems I have not seen a need for them.

The Ultimate Drone

I am a full time videographer and for me, this drone is more than worth the money. The quality is outstanding, the drone is easy to operate and it's sooooooo smooth. The controller is super nice to have, because the screen is really bright and easy to see even in the sunlight. Also, you don't have to worry about draining your phone battery like you do with the regular controller. I've used it for Roofing Companies, Real Estate, Wedding Venues, and just to get amazing shots! I would highly suggest buying ND Filters, so you don't have to crank your shutter and/or apature.

OTRO ROLLO!

Este dron es MUY bueno... La calidad de imagenes y el tiempo de vuelo son excelentes. Tuve un pequeño problema coa batería, pero la compañía se hizo responsable de la garantía y me la cambiaron sin mucho rollo! Duró 2 meses y falló la batería... Desconocen las causas pero se reemplazó rápido y fácil.

The best camera in the Mavic line

Despite the release of newer models, the Mavic 2 Pro still has the best quality camera. This is probably the only compelling reason to purchase the 'Pro' as it is quite a bit more expensive. WIth the addition of the bundled Smart Controller it is the best of the line for cinematic quality.

This one is definitely a keeper, returned my first drone ( another brand) hard to use, bad software, ect, but this one worked with very little effort to get up and running aside from firmware updates and definitely recommend having a separate controller like this over having to use your smartphone
