There are so many brands out there for this upgrade that there doesn't seem to be any universally recommended one. So all I did was read the reviews and decided to try this particular one. The installation was very simple (as shown on Youtube). Restoring the operating system worked exactly as described on Youtube. I did the speed test and yes is is certainly faster than the original 256GB chip. I have the Mac mini backed up via time machine incase the chip fails.
