Easy, quick, lightweight, keeps everything clean! as a 5'3 mom with a very tall and active toddler, I've worn this backpack with our car seat and hiking pack stuffed inside, while carrying a big carry on bag AND wearing my toddler in ergo carrier on the front... thanks for making it possible to bring the essentials when traveling alone with my hands full!

Held up for our trip. I think we can squeeze one more use out of it
I poured over the offerings of Travel Bags for Carseats before settling on this one due to the high reviews.We traveled domestically from D.C. to Seattle.The bag made its first leg with no problem. Our last leg (home), we came home with a very scuffed bag and a hole.I think it really depends on where you travel, what airline you travel with, and who is handling this bag. We typically travel with Virgin, but we traveled with United to Seattle and the bag had no damage to it (i.e. places where you pay for your bags, they put a tad more care). We traveled with Southwest on our way back and not only were they busy, bags are free, so, do the math)As a caveat- my husband fit the Britax Elite base, car seat, And a baby hiking backpack in that bag, so that also could account for the wear and tear, but there was room for it all.I was hoping to have this bag last for just this trip. Great buy, if you ask me.

Good quality, and does the job.
The bag is well constructed, of quality materials. It's quite large, and was easily able to fit an infant seat and booster seat with a back, at the same time. The backpack straps should really have been replaced with a messenger bag style strap, because the bag is so large that when you have seats in it, it will lean 1-2 FEET away from your back! So I just extended the backpack straps to their maximum length and wore them both over my neck like a messenger bag. Also, the bag sometimes pulls on the drawstring closure in a way that will pull it open. You either need to tie a bow in the cords to prevent this, or install some other type of device to lock the cords (the sliding cord "locks" are insufficient). Overall it met our needs well. I think this could be improved by adding some straps or d-rings to the sides, so that the bag could be constricted to the size of the contents, while keeping the great large size.

I can tell what car seat is mine!
Awesome! Loved it! I've already used the bag several times and it's held up fabulously! We have a Maxi Cosi Pria 70 and it fits like a glove. Since the material is a little stiff you have to work a little to get the top to cinch close all the way but it's not hard. Just make sure you wrap or double knot the excess string so that it doesn't get caught anywhere. The bag gets a little dirty but that's inevitable with it being on conveyer belt after conveyer belt. Luckily you turn the bag inside out to fold it back up so the dirtiness is contained. The back pack straps attached to the bag are extremely helpful when you have your hands full with bags or children!

Almost perfect but a little better than the expensive and padded other cover I bought
I was a little skeptical about this bag. The material seemed thick enough but it was nothing compared to the thick, plastic coated material of the other bag I bought. Well, after our trip to Ohio and back the thick, plastic coated bag has big holes in it and this bag is pristine! Not one hole in this bag! I do wish the bag closed more securely, and I would have gladly paid more for that, but it did stay tied since I knotted it. The bag has drawstrings, like sweat pants, that need to be tied to keep the bag shut. My carseat was in great condition even though this bag offers no padding. I put coats and blankets in the seat and the airline never looked in the bag, so they got a free ride. I'd love to see a new closing system, but this bag works great for a great price as is.

This is the bag you want!
This travel bag will withstand the wear and tear of traveling with an infant and a toddler. We used this bag for our son's large toddler seat. This is one of the only bags we could find that was large enough for our needs. We fit his seat, a blanket for our infant, two life jackets, and a little potty seat in this bag- with room to spare! We had lots to carry through the airport, so we checked this car seat bag with our other luggage and it held up great. We tightened the straps so there were no loose parts to get caught on something else. On our next trip I may cover it with a large contractor garbage bag to keep it looking like new.We tried another bag previous to this purchase and the seams ripped before we even made it to our vehicle. This bag is very well made and the straps are sewn in well.This is the bag you want. It's durable and large enough to sneak all those items you need to bring for a toddler that won't fit in your suitcase. And, it's free to check a car seat! Oh, and it works great as a dirty laundry bag once you're on vacation!

Perfect for flights!
This is so useful for those who travel with children on planes. I wish that I had bought it much sooner so that I would have had it for previous flights. The back pack feature and the ability to tuck/stuff the larger bag into the much smaller bag is very convenient. This makes it so much easier to carry the car seat (it frees up your hands which is pretty useful when you have a little one, suit cases, stroller, etc) and allows for easy storage of the bag when it's not in use. I would highly recommend this item for its functionality and reasonable price point.

Nice bag that does exactly what it should do.
I really liked the car seat bag. Used it for a cross country trip where I checked it at baggage even though I know it's not made for that. I wrapped my large toddler car seat in a small taped up blanket for some padding and it was just fine. I don't really see any wear and tear on it at all. It did the job just like I needed it to. It's better quality then some of the others I've seen and I don't think I'll have an issue with it holding up for many trips. I was traveling alone with my 2 year old daughter and I was able to easily throw the bag on my back and be on my way.
