Heavy duty connectors.
The product was a heavy duty grade connector. It performs well.

Accepts 4 ga silicone wire
Terminals are large enough to accept 4 ga wire. You need quite a bit of heat to solder these, but can be done. Hammer Crimping is difficult due to wall thickness.

Great product. The grey will not insert into the red (perhaps if you had a file or dremel to modify the plastic). The metal inserts can get mangled if you try to crimp them (so I have heard, I soldered them), but you can buy new ones. They do come in all different sizes (2 AWG, 4 AWG etc) You can peel back some copper fibers of a 2 AWG wire (enough to fit into a 4 AWG size), solder it, and electrical tape the strands after you bend them forward (that is my solution).I use them to wire a receiver mounted winch (both front and back), I built a charging circuit (this is the grey set) for an auxiliary deep cycle battery/inverter, and I made a set of jumper cables (cutting off one end and soldering on one of these disconnects). I have not used them extensively, but 4X4 and camping season is fast approaching.

Work well
Product is exactly as expected, installation difficulty is related to your ability to crimp or solder the terminals to your wire. That really isn’t anything the product can change. Otherwise the plastic shell interfaces well (plugs together well). The covers are tight.

Crimping works best when it’s only for one size wire
I like they are well built and easy to use. My dislike was I couldn’t find one for the size of wire I used and one said it was for #2and #4 but it sure was way too big for my #4 wire. But it’s still working good.

Do not buy if you live in a cold climate
Bought the February of last year just got around installing them about two months ago the entire plastic housing cracked on them in a matter of no time with very light duty use. Maybe better in warm weather but definitely not meant for Northeastern Ohio

Great quality
I use a lot of these in the forklift industry, these are the same quality of the ones that I buy from the OEM's. Would definitely recommend.
