I did a LOT of research before buying this. I find it works perfectly in my Mazda 3. I connected it to the right side of the rear view and it stays there until I disconnect it. From other reviews, I was concerned about it falling off while in use, but it never has, and I have been using it almost daily for three weeks while I drive for Uber and Lyft. It allows perfect viewing and is very stable and does not vibrate. All in all I am totally pleased. When my partner starts driving, I plan to buy another one for our other vehicle.

Nice idea to be able to display your phone from your mirror. The first issue is that the clamp just does not fit on a mirror. If you have any type of recent vehicle, the mirrors are too thick to use this item . The clamp is not large enough for a secure fit. If you do manage to get the clamp on, once you add the phone, any movement will cause the clamp to fall. Additionally, the device is just not stable in the carrier and the phone has too much movement to view easily. Again, nice idea but I found this to be off poor design and not useful.

UPDATE: Now I understand why people say it doesn't start. After a while the clamps bend, and if you're in a hot place like Arizona, it is worse. So I am not stuck with a unit that doesn't stay on.Not sure why others say that it falls off. It works great in my Dodge Grand Caravan. You just have to tighten it properly.

I like how it's closer to you while your drive, and how sturdy it cord that's holding it together but, I don't like how hard it is to put the phone inside it

Well constructed, I like the product but I got it to use in a Forg Edge and it didn't stay put on the mirror. It barely fit on the mirror and stayed on for about an hour then fell off. If the mirror is not real thick it will work fine.

I had to put this on backwards, so it obscures part of the mirror. Even tightened, it still shakes when im on the freeway. It does its job but im watching to see how it holds up to the heat. thankfully summer is at its close.

I love this phone holder. I bought a brand new 2019 JEEP. This is perfect. I hesitated on buying it because other reviews seemed shady about it. However, I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT. Its perfect..no glue, tape, suction. It fits on mirror, and can be tightened or loosened easy. When not in use I just take it down. Love Love Love this one.

Great idea for holding the phone. Would give it a five star rating if it didn't occasionally pop off of my mirror. Now I have it on there very tightly and it has been holding well.
