This unit more than met my expectations. It is more heavy duty than I expected. I have ground tough cuts of beef and pork with ease (10 pounds of beef in five minutes). I've also used it with soft vegetables and chicken. It performs well. Clean up is a snap. Recommend buy.

I really like this meat grinder. I've converted to grinding up all of my meat, tenderloins, top sirloins, chuck roasts, chicken. This machine works really well for all of those. It has 3 different sized 'blades' and each one of them work really good. I love mine.

I was so excited to get the meat grinder and the first batch of ground chuck we made was amazing! The parts seemed solid, it was fairly easy to clean and it seemed powerful enough to easily make hamburgers which was our main reason for buying it.But the second time I used the machine, again with a chuck roast cut into suitable sized pieces ... nothing that should give that machine a hard time, I saw SHARDS OF SILVER in the ground at the end!! Best I can tell from taking it apart the metal shavings came from the square base of "the crew" that cork screw like bit that goes into the blade disc. I could see that it seemed rough and sharp.So disappointing.I had seen other reviews about metal shards in the grind on other units, but this machine had such good reviews (albeit only a handful) that I was hoping this one was made well.Sadly we had to throw out the ground roast, order a pizza and contact Amazon who was excellent assisting with the return.

I bought this meat grinder to grind chicken breast for my little dog who was really sick and wouldn't eat much more than ground chicken. It worked GREAT!!.... Have used it to grind chicken and beef for her and for burgers on the Barby.... When I was a kid, it was my job to hand grind wallnuts for our Christmas cookies... Now I have this grinder... zoom.... wallnuts gound perfectly for MY Christmas cookies.... Love this grinder!!

It is a little flimsy and doesn't grind fat and gristle very well, and I thought it was okay to put in the dishwasher but from the manual I don't think thats a good idea. I've learned to cut up meat in small pieces and it grinds better when it's cold but not frozen.

Gave this item away for Christmas, and have received positive feedback! No issues..

We decided to process our own deer this year and I took a chance on this. It works great! Easy to put together and clean and store. We used the medium grid for our ground meat and it comes out perfect! No complaints here!

Great little meat grinder for small jobs. Have to let it cool down occasionally so as not to overheat it
