Does what it says on the box and more.
Product arrived before scheduled time. The chair is heavy definitely a 2 man lift, and there is some assembly required, but I was able to assemble without instructions as it was pretty intuitive. The chair won’t go through a standard doorway without flipping sideways and threading through. Did I mention that it’s a 2 man job? But oh when you get it where you want it and turn it on, it’s shiutsu heaven, nice strong massage, different programs and manual modes make it extremely flexible. I would recommend this chair to everyone. If you are on the height deficient side you may not get the foot massage to its full capability. All in all a great chair for the money.

High quality for the price, but some drawbacks...
Pros:- Inexpensive!- Easy-to-assemble (you won't need the missing assembly instructions; air tubes and wire are color coded and the bolts and Allen Key are self-explanatory).- Airbag pressure (forearms/hands, shoulders, thighs, calves and feet) is very strong. Some users who are thicker or extremely heavy may experience extreme discomfort even at half-pressure (think blood pressure cuff). Adjustment to the lowest setting is recommended if too tight. I personally enjoy the pressure on max because it mimics the feeling of two hands pressing down onto your muscles and forces circulation upon release, but parents and siblings have complained that it was a bit much. To each, his own.- The Ospirit reclines (though not completely zero-gravity).- Overall build seems very durable.- Design is decent compared with some of the more expensive models that look like faux leather orthopedic executive office chairs from the 80s. It will not clash with your furniture and decor and that's a good thing.- Back massage rollers are not stationary and have three different movement settings: kneading, swaying, and pressure point. After the first run, your back may feel sore, but if you use the chair regularly it will become accustomed to the pressure. A thick towel placed in between the chair cover should dampen the pressure.- Heat option is great.Cons:- Shuang Ying sent me a very bizarre gift and I am not sure what to do with it. I think it was sent in error. I notified the seller but their response was to just keep it. Update (08/01/2020): I know why they sent me the weird gift, it's similar to how Chinese companies recently sent flower seeds to various addresses as a way to boost sales rankings and feedback. It's called "brushing" in marketing lingo and is a way to set up bogus accounts to create fake reviews that they write themselves! Hahaha.- Foot rollers are annoying. I have to turn them off completely or force my feet to rest on their sides against the outer airbag which helps diminish the pain caused by the sharp scrapers on the rollers. It literally scrapes the bottom of your feet and the pain is just unbearable. Be advised to wear thick socks or place a small cushion under each foot before stepping into the foot rest. Fortunately, you have the option of turning it off. In my opinion, the Osaki Pro Ekon has the best foot massage of any chair I have tested thus far, but that model is in the $5-8K range.- The Ospirit is not a true zero-gravity chair but it does recline to a near zero-gravity position.- No vibration or tapping mode. This should be standard for all massage chairs in this price range.- Head placement is off. When I recline, my head feels like it sinks into the back roller track and is very uncomfortable. Once the rollers pass underneath the neck, it feels fine. I think folding a small hand towel to raise the head does the trick and won't interfere with the rollers as they pass.- Back massage rollers do not fully reach the lower back. I am approximately 5'9" and if I'm seated my knees will bend over the edge of the seat and my short thighs causes my back to separate from the seat-back which is why I can't fully enjoy the rollers when it is positioned in the mid-lower back region. I find that the way to maximize reach is to crouch into the seat by pulling up your knees but then lose the benefit of having your legs worked on. This is usually fine for me as my back gives me more problems so than my legs but having to do everything separately is a slight inconvenience. Should not be an issue if you are taller and have long legs.- If the airbag system is activated, the pump can be very loud. I was not expecting it to be so loud though I have tested more top-of-the-line models (such as the Cozzia Qi SE and Osaki Pro 1st ) which are priced in the $8,000 range and produce a buzzing/whirring noise similar to Ospirit so not much anyone can do about that. The Remote:- The remote design is completely erratic and lacks any logic.- The remote panel sound volume cannot be adjusted or silenced.- The remote panel is also simply confusing to read and the button placement (as with many of these Chinese-designed appliances) does not follow any sort of good user interface design. For instance, the "backrest up/down" button (located on the far left side of the control panel) is a rocker type button, but pressing the upper or lower half on the "backrest up" and "backrest down" rocker, respectively, yields the same result. I think the designer or engineer was either very lazy and did not put any thought into the placement of the buttons or the remote had already completed production when the manufacturer realized the redundancy and did nothing to save on production costs. I personally would have scolded whoever was responsible and corrected the mistake. Solid simplified design can be a game changer for a competitively priced item like this. Also, the back massage roller "position up/down" keys are placed away from the grouping of back massage roller type keys which causes a lot of confusion when trying to adjust the back rollers. The current layout, at least for English speakers, implies that "position" is actually the "backrest" key. I would love to redesign the Ospirit's remote panel to improve usability if Rothania would get in touch!Overall, I would recommend the Ospirit if you're on a budget and you need a high pressure massage chair. If you are seeking a chair with a focus on foot/back massage, this is not going to make the cut. I can bear the slight pain that develops after the initial heavy usage but it subsides as your skin and muscles acclimatea to the pressure exerted by the kneading motion and this is the same with any massage chair. As suggested above, a towel or thin foam padding should do the trick if you don't mind the hack! After a full day of working, yard work, and running about, I look forward to relaxing in the Ospirit so I can overlook some of the design flaws, especially considering the price. Given that the Ospirit is only $799 (on sale) for a chair that does essentially the same job of some of the more higher-end models and has the added benefit of looking great for being an "economy" product, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this for starters.Update: The top right roller is misaligned and every time it presses against my shoulders or neck, it buckles, and while it returns to the original position, it won't hold the original position with enough force to apply pressure. I was instructed by the seller to open the back and troubleshoot, but have not had the time to do it. Other than that, it works fine.

A great massage chair for the price
I have been wishing for a full body massage chair longer than I can remember. But the steep price of some name brand models steer me away. Finally at an affordable price I bought this one. The faux leather feels good. The instruction manual was not very clear, but the wires were easy enough to put together. I did feel relaxed and wish the massage power can be a bit stronger because I almost fell asleep after laying down for a while.

Like the chair overall. But some comments
Like the chair overall. But some comments:- Strange shipping arrangement because of the big bulk size but it all worked out.- No instruction on assembly but not difficult to figure out.- Good mid-upper back massage.- To get lower back massage though, I need to sit up and loss the most of foot massage. This is because the chair is designed using someone taller than me as model. The chair is probably best fit for someone at around 5'11"...- Agree with someone's statement that says "...not completely zero-gravity".- Like the heat- Don't mind the pain, kind of need that for a good massage, I think.- Used it daily for a few month now, still love it.- Vendor responded to my questions in 24 hours or so, so it is responsive enough for me.

Good chair
I like this chair. I had to add some padding inside of it because the rollers made me sore. I just opened the top and added a cheap bed pillow inside and that made it perfect. The head rests a bit awkward in it. The best massage is in the upper and lower back. The foot and leg part squeezes nicely but the foot massage is down right irritating. My arms keep getting squeezed so tight I thought it was going to break my arms. Really! Don't put your arms in it unless someone is around. I have had the chair for several months and learned to love it. It isn't a $4000.00 chair but it is actually pretty heavy duty and gives a great back massage with a little extra padding. I have neuropathy and it helps relieve some of my pain when I am in it.Well worth the money.

Unhappy
No assembly instructions. Figured it out. Difficult to operate due to poor instruction manual. Manual in computer English not plain English. 999$ is a lot.Wife has short legs so her back didn't reach back of chair for massage and feet didn't reach foot massage area. Still trying to work out return.
