Glad I bought two Streamaroos $$ but well made and worth it
PRO's:The Streamaroo while costing more than any other device for holding a cell phone so it can be used for a video camera I found it worth it. I don't recall if this was mentioned on their site but the cell phone holder itself unscrews off of the hat mount and any regular pocket camera can be put on there are well, that is plus! The other plus is, I have a GOPRO 3 Black with an cap mount too which does a fine job. However, things are so small and bent through the fish eye lens my iPhone 4S gives a better picture for me needs which is taking videos of my Radio Controlled flying helicopters and air planes while they are in flight.I bought two, one myself and one for a friend.CON:When it arrives it is made of quality spring steel where it grips the hat and it grips the ball cap brim very tightly. The part that grabs the phone is part metal and part plastic, but a good quality plastic. However, after putting my phone in the frame and walking around I did a test to see "if" what the cell camera was looking right where my eyes were. It was not....... but only by a small margin. Now there are 3 things you can do, wear your hat a bit lower or...... what I did, which was to put a small 1/8" plastic washer under it where it meets the cap to lift and tilt the camera down a wee bit. Once I did that, I walked around outside verbally saying where and what I was looking at for a center-line. BAM I was right on the money when I played the video. If you want you could also bend the top of the mount that 1/8" and come up with the same results, the cell phone would again tilt that wee bit towards the ground where MY eyes hit, I didn't want to scratch it to to do that. Give it a try like I did, wear the HAT comfortably and make a video to see where your at. I am happy with it :-)

Good Quality - Works on Helmet (with modification)
Good quality product and fast shipping. Only complaint is that my Samsung S4 with Otter case is too heavy and off balance for any ball cap to stay in place. I ended up mounting it on top of a bicycle helmet, and that works well.

As expected. It works.
Does what it says. Stays put. Good for hands free use.

I couldn't get the mount to stay pointing down in ...
I couldn't get the mount to stay pointing down in the right position. It just became a hassle.Perhaps I'll give it another try at some point. It definitely isn't for lack of quality.Cheers.

Disappointed
Unfortunately the weight of the iphone6 was too much and the hat kept slipping. So we're not able to use it as intended.

Good light-weight hat mount.
This is a great product, it does the job, it's lightweight and somewhat adjustable. Compared to the competition it's much like lighter so less cumbersome on your head. I do wish it used an alternative method besides straight tension to hold the phone in place, or that the tension was controllable - which is the case with the competing Livestream hat mount, but after an evening of talking dancing and performing while periscoping, everything stayed in place though the phone tends to slide into a slightly downward-tilting angle. Would be nice if there was a slight groove to fix it in place (if desired - obviously one will want to tilt it in some cases) and a mechanism to adjust the angle exactly and further, but as I said the competition has that feature but weighs a lot more.

Exactly as I had Hoped it Would Be
I just received this in the mail. It came fast, about 10 days. I am very impressed with the product. I tried 3 phones in it. it holds each of them securely, no worries about it letting go of them.I really like the angle that it points in, just about my actual line of sight.I plan on using this at animal rights demos, to record video all day long. It is so much better than the home made straps I had been using :)Thanks so much to the people who make it and sell it. No need to buy an expensive GoPro, when I already have very good quality video recording on my smart phone !

Nice idea but....
Nice idea but who are we kidding? Cel phones are so big and heavy now you would have to nail the hat to your head to carry an iphone on your hat brim.
