Description
- HyperIce - Knee Compression Wrap Hyper Ice Knee Compression Wrap is designed for the treatment and/or prevention of: knee pain and inflammation from strains/sprains, ACL/MCL/Meniscus strains or tears, patella tendonitis (jumper's knee), iliotibial band friction (runner's knee). Recharge. Repair. Recover. Essential gear for any athlete who moves fast and needs to recover faster. Get back in motion and return to action. Can also be used on large shins to treat and/or prevent shin splints, and on large calves to treat calf strains. Compression Sleeve Features 3mm Premium grade compression neoprene with velcro-plush finish Non-restrictive design allows for greater range of motion and mobility while icing Provides optimal compression while maintaining a comfortable fit Can also be positioned on the shin (shin splints) and the calf (calf strains) Machine Washable Ice Cell Features Built in air release valve enables maximum compression Ultra-thin, durable cell "skin" for rapid cold transfer and depth of penetration Flexible Ice Cell conforms to the body's contours, maximizing the points of contact Antimicrobial cell "skin" prevents the growth of microbes (bacteria, fungi) Easy to load, wide mouth opening Built in water tight seal provides resistance against leaks Flange collar design locks ice cell into place for stability 10" x 10" icing surface area HyperIce Back Compression Wrap Frequently Asked Questions How long do I leave the HyperIce on for? 15-20 minutes is recommended. For daily recovery and maintenance, one treatment per day is all that is needed. When icing an injury, the process can be repeated several times per day- with at least 90 minutes in between treatments. When icing the elbow, reduce the treatment time to 10-15 minutes. Can I put the HyperIce directly on my skin? Yes, the HyperIce can be applied directly to the skin. If desired, a thin shirt or garment can be worn underneath the device. If you are using HyperIce as a post surgical treatment, please cover any fresh surgical wounds/stitches with a clean band-aid, gauze pad, or saran wrap before applying the HyperIce to the skin. I pressed the air release valve and nothing happened. No air came out. The Ice Cell must be pressurized in order for the air release valve to work. For this to happen, the Ice Cell must be inserted into the Compression Wrap and the compression wrap must be applied to the body. At this point, the Ice Cell becomes pressurized and the air release valve can be pressed to remove air from inside the Ice Cell- this will increase compression. Should I add water to the Ice Cell to make it conform to the body better? No, do not add water to the Ice Cell. Adding water will prevent the compression wrap from providing optimal compression. I left my Ice Cell in the hot sun and it damaged the material. Is it ruined? If your Ice Cell has been sun damaged, follow these steps: rinse with cold water spread out the cell skin to remove any wrinkles or folds air dry place the Ice Cell (without the cap) in the freezer for one hour. The cold temperature should restore the material Can the HyperIce be used for heat as well as ice? No. The HyperIce is designed specifically to function as a cold therapy device. Do NOT fill the Ice Cell with hot water - doing so will damage the Ice Cell. Technology Each Hyperice device is composed of two parts that work together as a system to maximize cold and compression and deliver optimal cold therapy. HyperIce Ice Cell with Air Release Technology The ice Cell provides the "cold" component by harnessing the power of real ice which is loaded into the Ice Cell each time the HyperIce is used. Real ice is a powerful topical anti-inflammatory agent because of its superior ability to remove heat from the body and reduce tissue temperatures. Air Release Valve The patented air release valve removes air from the ice cell to enable maximum compression. When applied to the body, ice draws heat out of the body, slowly melting the ice to water

Suggested Use: Care Instructions After use, rinse the ice Cell inside and out with cool water and air dry. After the ice Cell is dry, store in a cool, dry place. Each Hyperice comes in a protective casing tube that is ideal for storing and/or carrying. Do not expose the Ice Cell to direct sunlight and/or heat, as the UV rays can damage the medical grade material. Do not fill the Ice Cell with anything other than ice. Hyperice works with all different forms of ice, but works best with crushed ice or Ice nuggets. Crushed ice and ice nuggets will conform to the body better than large cubes. The Hyperice wraps are machine washable, although it is not necessary to wash after each use. Wash the wraps only as needed. Wash on "delicate" and hang dry.
