I always have an extra jug in the freezer so i don't have to wait for water to freeze. So far, the sleeve has been holding up with me switching jugs daily.What I like about this product:- Improved high quality YYK Zippers (Google it real quick, they make over half of the world's zippers)- High Water Capacity- Keeps your drink ice cold for almost as long as those metal vacuum insulated bottles for less money*- Has a phone pocket (I use it to store my tiny zip lock of supplement capsules)What I don't like about this product:- So far none (WILL UPDATE ON ZIPPER DURABILITY)*Fill the 1/3 or 1/4 of the jug with water, freeze the jug overnight, then fill the rest of the jug with water. Your drink can stay ice cold for 5-8 hours depending one how much ice you froze overnight.*

So I received my Gallon Guard today and was psyched. The leading brands were double the price and this is the same material and seems like better quality to me. They even hand wrote a thank you hallmark card. This will be perfect for long days on at work.

Wow it’s better than I expected. I truly, truly love this Gallon Guard 😍 especially for the gym or at work. I will see how it holds up and then I will update my review. To be completely honest, I was tempted to purchase the other leading brands but I’m so glad I went with this one!

The Black cover is defective the zipper breaks the first time you try to use it. The product in the Blue cover zipper works fine. They sent me a replacement but it failed too. Now they refuse go refund or send me another cover. I gone really screwed buying the defective product. Also seller said they would sent me a free replacement for the two that were defective........they did not.I would not purchase this product.

Got this jug cover April 4th, 2019. Zipper broke May 28th 2019. Probably used the zipper less than twenty times. I had read the reviews about the broken zippers but decided to go for it anyway after seeing that the manufacturer had claimed to address the issue with YKK heavy duty zippers. I can safety say that this did not fix the issue. I would really love to find one of these jug covers with a velcro wrap style closure.As far as an actual insulated cooler I never really got to test it in hot weather. I bought this to keep ice in my water jug while the jug is on the floor of my work truck. In the 70 degree weather I did test it in, the ice would melt within a few hours so I don't think this jug cover would have worked well for my purposes.

My kid is required to bring a gallon of water to practice. She usually has her jug partially frozen. The water stays cold and doesn't sweat or leave puddles.The pockets are great for small items and there's a clip for keys.One seam is starting to unravel after months of daily use and we easily sewed it back up.I will likely purchase another as she will need to have water for the next 3 years of high school.Great value and function. Her team mates were jealous of her cozy jug. They call it a jug in a sweater, or Wet suit wearing water.

I used this jug for my everyday job, and gym. It was good for keeping a gallon guarded as the name implies. If your buying this to have cold water you should look at something else with an ice pack. It is a very tight fit anyoing at times but the more you use it the easier it gets.I’ve had my gallon guard for about three months and I’m sad to report the zipper broke on me they need a stronger zipper. All in all I liked it but, I rated two stars because it broke in less than three months, I will admit I am a delivery driver, and go to the gym six times a week so I did use it a lot.

I read the reviews and thought I made the smart choice. I didn't choose the least expensive one.Upon receiving the product I was not impressed. I thought the zipper and latch for your keys could have been sturdier or beefier. My concerns became a reality when the zipper broke on my first use. If you want a jug holder / caddy, purchase one from a different manufacturer.
