Archaic
The mp3 player came quickly, that was great. Though it came with no instructions and the headphones are a joke, super cheap, bulky and really uncomfortable. I was going for simple, because my needs were simple, and I got archaic. I simply needed something, other than my phone, where I could listen to relaxing music and meditations so I could sleep at night. The mp3 player wouldn't accept any files from my computer, so I put my files on an SD card in the order I needed/wanted to listen to them. However, once I got on the mp3 player the order was all mixed and there is no way to change which files you listen to. I found this frustrating. I would think if you're wanting this to work out or listen to books or whatever, that you know the order you want to listen to your songs. Can you imagine listening to a book with the chapters mixed up? Lame. One star for lack of functionality. The sound was fine, the battery life great, I love the small size.... but still one star. It may be cheap, but it's still a waste of money.

Nice clip, bad device
Pros: Very very small and lightweight, has a clip that allows you to tuck it anywhere on your body.Cons: Buttons work intermittently, menu selection is very hard because of this. Terrible menu UI, often a file will just not play and display a 'format error' alert (even if it's the right format, which is mp3 only). Doesn't play mp4, m4v, only mp3s. I've almost just tossed this thing in the garbage due to these frustrations. Looking for an mp3 player this small with a clip that is not from China has been a challenge. What I really need is an iPod shuffle, but I can't justify the prices out there for new/used shuffles.

Frustrating controls, would have been great otherwise
This device comes *so* close to being great. I'm very happy with the sound quality, the size of the built-in memory, the battery life, and the overall physical configuration --- I clip it onto my collar to listen everywhere I go for many hours out of the day and for falling asleep. There are just two related problems with this device, and they are big ones. First, the user interface doesn't work as it should. Most navigation through menus is accomplished using the left or right buttons, but the device often doesn't recognize which of these buttons I have pushed. I push right, and it responds as if I had pushed left, and does this about a third of the time. I just have to keep pushing right. So an attempt to go three songs to the right may mean that I have to push the button seven times to counteract the two times the device went the wrong way. This also means that I can never push the controls without seeing the display --- I have to keep an eye on this bugger! The control for changing the volume is really kludgy, and I end up having to push the button to get to that feature multiple times to arrive at volume control instead of lock-unlock. And once I have to volume control open, I'm back to the already-mentioned problem that when I use the L-R buttons the change the volume, the device thinks I am pushing the opposite button about a third of the time.Second, if I accidentally push two buttons at once, I sometimes brick the device. It becomes unresponsive and won't work until I let it run its battery all the way down. (To be fair, SanDisk clips sometimes have this problem, too.)This is a lot of bother and frustration for saving a few bucks versus getting a SanDisk, the device that I assume this one was meant to emulate.

Just Okay
I purchased this product strictly for use at the gym. I wanted something small and while this did work for that feature it has been a disappointing purchase. I had a SanDisk clip jam which I loved, it died on me over time. I needed something quick and selected this item. I make it work but would not purchase again. It's not really as user friendly as what I was used to. I did have a difficult time getting my music loaded as well. At the end of the day, do I love it? No. Would I buy again? No. I make it work for now.

For 15 not bad .
When its not stormy or windy reception on radio is good I am keeping it for 2 reasons small to carry than clip sports to Dr apts ..and waiting for my husband in the car hardware stores, when we do food shopping also the headphone work good not great if you don,t care for anything fancy mico sd card has good sound also.If you like to do folders that is hard to see .Otherwise alright gave it a 3 because it is hard to navigate from radio to music and audiobook.sAll in all not bad

Tried a new product
I download audio books from the library, and my MP3 iPod shuffle players are wearing out. I tried this inexpensive player just once so far, but it worked perfectly. Hopefully it will last a long time, too.

Ridiculous
No instructions with the system had to download a qr code reader on my phone to have any directions at all, no directions whatsoever for actually downloading music. Very frustrating.Days later...OK, have downloaded music on to unit using YouTube general instruction videos. So far so good
