amazing art and mile stone in anatomy.

If you buy this book, firstly you must have strong biceps. I think the two volumes of this Atlas should weight about 10 kilos. This isn't a pocket book, but a very big one. The plates and paper quality are very good and more having in count the price. They have some taste of a something geometrical very own of French works, but not very natural, but artistic. And it's true, surgeons, histologists and pathologists ever remain in consulting anatomic plates, photos and books as if that primary science never could be known in full. There are I think more modern anatomical Atlas and books but this is excellent including for simple curiosity.

This was an amazing purchase..there are two books actually and they are pretty heavy.. The illustrations are beautiful and kind of artistic.. The information is in english, german and french and is pretty helpful. I bought this for a friend of mine who just got her medicine degree and she was really excited about it..
