I did get the lens in the cone but could not get it to move. I returned mine for refund. **Q: Is this projector easy to use in order to achieve a pre-determined size? For example... if I need to enlarge my sketch to a 11 X 14 dimension?** A: It's kind of relative-if your original is a good line drawing or black & White image and proportionally smaller, it should be fairly easy to accomplish. The focus is very manual, so getting a clear enlargement may take some work. And yes, the room needs to be pretty dark. I am still looking for a cheap (or free) stand with wheels so I can move the projector back and forth easily. **Q: How far does it project?** A: This projector will cast light and imagery a really long way, though at 17 feet between the projector and the surface will be the limit to achieve its maximum magnification. It will be very difficult to go beyond this distance and still focus the image clearly. **Q: Can it be used to project written material?** A: I would think so, as long as it is a clean sharp image, and it fits within image area (about 5"x6").Are you using this for an art project or are you trying to do a presentation?
