Fleurette Bidou 2GB - MP3 player for babies and kids with built-in loudspeaker

There are not many MP3 players out there and I wanted one for my 2.5 year old so he could be in control of playing music. Toddlers love buttons, music, and doing it "myself!" So this is the perfect toy. I love that it has safe volume control and few buttons. But, I don't need a volume fade button, I am not sending my child to bed with this. The forward and back buttons should be in the middle and easier to push. I like that batteries and the USB port are under a screwed panel, but it is a pain that the headphone jack is too! Overall I am happy with this purchase, but can imagine a better version.

I now have 3 of these. Just bought this one for my house. I gave one each to my grandchildren and kept on at my house for when they come. I put different kinds of kids music on them. I grouped it together. I have sleepy time then fun time. They enjoy it in the car and in bed. My grandson is 3 and has been able to turn in on and off and change songs for a year. The directions tell you how to set the auto shut off. you can pick increments of 5, 10 etc.Perfect for crib use. The company is very receptive to questions and has a nice web site

I bought this for my 1year old last Christmas. I was hoping it would be something that would allow her to listen to music on her own as she got a little older. At first is was fine. The controls are a little fiddly- hard to press, often requiring "press button 3 times, until green light flashes five times" type maneuvers that would be very difficult for a young child to master. It's easy to get it set on the timed mode, and impossible to tell which mode it's in, so sometimes 10 minutes after I got her settled down to enjoy some music it would abruptly shut off.Then it died, after a few months of use. No traumatic events, falls or water. It began to only play the first few seconds of a song and then shut off, and then it just didn't do anything. The little green light flashes, but nothing else. My daughter loved it, and I finally had to hide it after she kept coming to me asking for "Moosic! Fix it?" Sad.

Easy to use. I purchased one years ago and was pleased to find it again.

"Sleeping Buddy" is the best thing ever for my 2 year old. She was having trouble going to sleep by herself. I decided to try this and we call it "Sleeping Buddy". She has no issues going to sleep on her own now. I lock the bear so she cant play with the buttons. And I go into her room a few hours after she falls asleep to turn it off for the night. The automatic shut off is only 5, 10, 20 minutes - which is too short for her.I plan to get one for my niece for Christmas - she'll be 6 months so I'll get one with a sutff animal.
