Crazy Paws Pet Backpack Large Lilac

My 20 Lbs Lhasa loves this, she even goes in by herself when I open it because she knows she gets to go with us to places she didn't used to.She is very comfortable during our hikes.The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I wish the strap adjustments were on the top strap as a normal backpack instead of the bottom and were able to tighten them more. I am petite and have lower back problems, and the back pack falls right under my lower back when tightening as far as it comes and with the weight pulling it can be painful,. I have to hike with my hands pulling it from the front, so the bag can fit higher on my back and the dogs weight can actually put a little pressure on my lower back which actually relieves the pain on long hikes.

This would have probably been fine for a lighter weight dog, but my dog was not happy! My dog is small but heavy at 13-14 lbs (pug mix). The important thing to note is that there is little, if any, structure to the base and sides of this bag, so it's basically like throwing your dog in a stretchy sack. If they're light, it's fine, but if they're not, they just sink into the bottom of the bag, which causes the entire bag to stretch and narrow. the bag is made with good quality fabric and workmanship, however the shoulder straps are way too long even after full adjustment. this sit at between my hi-low hip when I placed my dog in it, bag gets in the way when walking.

My dog loves it (even though it took couple tries/ treats to convince her it's safe to climb in). It's comfortable to carry the 7-pounder either in the back or at the front, thanks to the padded shoulder straps and adjustable waistband.The carrier seems to be very well made. The fabric/mesh appears to be very sturdy. The backpack is also very light-weight.Note: The head-out opening won't be able to be closed completely.

The quality of the backpack itself is fine. However, the straps are designed for a giant! I'm 5'3" and even with the straps shortened to the max, the back was hanging too low in the back to comfortably walk around. As it's designed, the bottom of the back hits my upper butt-area.Just because the bag is X-large doesn't mean the person carrying it is 7' tall.

These slings run super small. It said it was a large, but it fit small. Our Chihuahua is 6.5 pounds & it was way too snug for him. I returned it. Very well made though & stylish.

I am giving it 3 stars only because my 12 lb westie/maltese dog could not fit in the X-Large. I wish she could have, because it seemed very well made. Easy return.

This was too small for my 10lb cat. There was no storage for anything, such as her leash or water dish. The bottom has little to no support so she just sunk in the bag like a sack of potatoes. She'd rather I took her out in a paper bag than use this. Don't waste money having to return it.
