Cant Go Wrong
Well built, easy to set up, and works great. Comes w/a quick release replacement rod that is made to fit the mounting cups making mounting quick and secure. As best I could see from web viewing the mounting cups on this trainer were far better made than other models at half the price. While the magnetic resistance has 3 settings just set it on 3 and use the bikes gears to vary the workout. No need for a cable controlled adjustment in my experience. I also purchased this over the hydro model as I will use it outdoors year round in Maine. I would recommend this model.

Quailty Built Trainer
Very well built, works as advertised and appears to be built by a company that actually knows something about quality control. Nice simple design and solid materials, excellent job at welding and a nice paint job. This is my second trainer and it is leaps ahead of the ones you'll see for $59 and being advertised by a different seller. I sent mine back because of the hubs not being aligned, lousy welding, missing a part and the mag unit didn't work at all and the cable adjuster was initially frozen. It finally broke loose. That trainer was cheaply built - and it certainly showed. Spend the extra and get one worth the money. On this trainer, the magnetic resistance on the Travel Trac offers 3 levels and you can feel the difference at each step. I set it at step 2 and use the gears on the bike to increase the resistance. It's nice to see that this company took the time to do it right. So far, I'm happy with the purchase and I have recommended it to others. Reliability - I doubt I or my wife will wear it out this winter but it will be well used by spring.

Nice for the novice
Note that I havent used a bicycle in years, and have never used a trainer before. Bought a RAD MAG right before this one and it was obnoxiously loud. In comparison, this thing is whisper quiet and everything feels better made. Setup is incredibly easy and you can be off and biking in just a few minutes out of box. The only thing I dont like is that my bike doesnt support an axle skewer and the vice system doesnt fit will over the standard size lugs. If you are looking for a heavy duty workout, this wont really work for you as only 3 levels of resistance and they are not that high. But for general use even while watching TV, this is a great system. I am using a 26" TacX Trainer, and its a nice smooth combo. From the picture, you can see that the adjustment knob has the roller almost all the way at the top, I doubt this will work with anything smaller than 26"

Not for me.
Offers too little resistance even on highest setting (and by this, I mean on the trainer itself and on the bicycle as well.).Update 11/14/16: The personnel was very polite and helpful, and received this item in order to give me a full refund. This is well built, is sturdy, but I found the technology itself to be not appropriate for me, although it will work wonders for someone else. Most likely you will need a special trainer tire to use this, consider having a full wheel assembly for a quick swap.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I have been using this trainer for the past few weeks. It was the cheapest trainer I could find that was listed as compatible trainers for Zwift. It isn't a smart trainer or even fluid trainer but it works well. Zwift suggests a resistance setting of 2 and when paired with the garmin cadence and speed sensor it works great. It has kept me on the bike and off the couch. It is a bit noisy but all magnetic trainers are. With the door closed you can barely hear a slight hum coming from the room.

Works well but very loud
It was a bit hard to assemble the bike into the rack, and unfortunately was very loud for my apartment. I’ve heard changing the tires to a smoother texture could help, but it wasn’t worth the risk to take the extra expense in case it wasn’t something that would fix the noise as much as I needed. Buyers with neighbors in apartments, beware.

Took it to the bike store and they showed me how easy it was
Works exceptionally well, I wasn't quite sure how to us it because it was my first time. Took it to the bike store and they showed me how easy it was. This is great! It helps me to change out my work out routine when it's inclement weather and I can flip out my bike and ride it still the same. I love it I can ride and enjoy tv it helps me multitask and maximize my time. Great investment!

Worth the price
Very nice investment in your health. The Trainer is very stable and fairly quiet. It does not have a front wheel riser which I was able to remedy with a piece of 2x2 landscape timber. Make sure your current bike has a hollow rear axle. I use an older racing bike which required an axle upgrade. I was not ready for the fancy electronic/wireless trainer expense, so this trainer is a great entry-level product which should hold-up well for my height and weight requirements.
