It's terrible that I have to say this, but it's soooo nice that these don't throw bulb errors! Just pay attention to the contacts when installing and you'll be happy. Unfortunately, you'll need to use the Audi screws on the original lights that I believe were designed to strip the phillips heads on first attempt to remove. A #1 bit with a ratchet/socket worked best for me for the screws, but I stripped the first one with a screwdriver.

I received my Lightdu License Plate Light LED Lamps Assemblies X001RTM72N. I am a Senior Electrical Design Engineer working on a custom License Plate. I have discovered a discrepancy between what is shown in the first photo of the LED light Lens and the actual specifications. The lens has 13.5 V 2.0 W CE, that is 13.5 Volts (DC) and 2.0 Watts, Conformity European. I based my initial design on what was on the Lens 13.5 V 2.0 Watts , however I did find in the notes for the device in the text of the ad where it stated 13.5V 3.5 Watts 30,000 Hour Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF). There needs to be a disclaimer on the ad to disregard the 2.0 W on the lens. Ideally it needs to be printed on the device 13.5 VDC 3.5 Watts. Additionally the positive tab needs to be identified. Now that I have resolved this discrepancy I really like my purchase and I have incorporated the LED lights in to my custom license plate design. BTW it looks “Factory”. I rate the Lightdu License Plate Light LED Lamps Assemblies X001RTM72N 4.0 of 5.0, If not for the dependency it would be 5.0 of 5.0.Very Satisfied,D. M.

I had to modify them slightly as they are larger than the original bulb enclosure, but holy shit are they bright! I'm not saying they are too bright, because I do want them to be as bright as possible, but some people may think they are. Overall super awesome product, good price, and works great!

Update: They are pure white, and much brighter than stock. It's been five months and the led light units are still working without issue. I haven't bothered researching part numbers, but I'm pretty sure Ford uses this same light model for many vehicles.I saw these and recognized the bottom clip they used, and just as I was hoping they fit my 2016 Ford Expedition like they were made for it!

One of my license plate bulbs went out and I thought I could just replace it. So after wrestling with the housing to remove the bulb it broke! So now I need to replace the entire assembly. Saw these light and read all the great reviews and made the purchase. MAN I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!! These lights are A MAZE ZING! Super bright, but not overly bright. Plate can be very easily read no problem. A very low price to pay for an amazing upgrade.

WAY too damn bright in my opinion. Also these did not install on my 05 Audi A8 without some trimming. Had to drill the screw holes out a bit so the Audi screw head would fit into the recess, and had to file some edges to get it to fit, but only on the left light. Maybe it was just my car...However they do seem to be well made, and so far no error message on the dash. Just too damn bright. If they were half as bright, 4 stars.I'm going to buy CREE bulbs that fit into the original lens housings.

I received the product listed as compatible for my Audi B7 A4. The passenger side light fit just fine but the drivers side was a nightmare. It took about an hour of sanding and filing to remove the excess plastic around the mounting tab that holds the light in place. This was necessary for the light to fit and have sufficient contact. This is not the "plug & play" solution that many other competitors offer. You need to be prepared to do some modifications in order to get these lights to fit properly. The light output is sufficiently bright.Overall, I would steer clear of this option if i had to purchase from this company again.

This product is great and super easy to install. It’s very bright which I’m my opinion looks great. And I got no error codes for my 325i, great product!
