Casio AQ-S820W Series

I've owned this watch for about three months. I purchased it because I like the extreme legibility of those white analog hands against the black background, and I wanted a watch that would allow me to easily switch time zones during a planned European vacation. The analog hands are extremely legible at a glance, under any lighting conditions except total darkness. There IS luminous paint on the analog hands, but it fades rather quickly. It's very easy to make the digital display cycle through the time in any time zone around the world, and when I push of the top left and top right buttons simultaneously, the analog hands quickly get switched over to the time zone that was being shown in the digital display. It's a great value travel watch that's not sufficiently fancy, elegant, or expensive to attract the attention of thieves. Solar charging keeps it running with no maintenance. It's lightweight, comfortable, and rugged. My only complaint is that it's a bit big and bulky for my small wrist. And for such a big watch, the actual face and hands are somewhat small. Overall, it's a winner.

The Casio AQ-S820W Series is a solid analog-digital combo that I really like for daily wear. It's lightweight, durable, and has that classic sporty look with the resin band and big face. World time, 5 alarms, stopwatch, countdown timer, and 100m water resistance cover everything I need without overcomplicating things. The dual display (analog hands + digital) is easy to read at a glance. Only minor nitpick is the backlight could be brighter in low light, but overall it's reliable, comfortable, and great value. Perfect for work, outdoors, or just everyday use.

Perfect. Beater watch super comfortable. It’s a little slow from my liking just probably 30 seconds I wish I could change it out for a different strap, but the waterproof is great and I have a small wrist and it doesn’t feel like it’s taking up too much room

This watch is solar powered keeps time in both analog and digital with date and alarms. For the price it is awesome. I highly recomend for anyone looking for a simple yet nice watch.

Purchased over 1 month ago. Very happy with a $44 on sale watch from Casio with solar charging that is keeping accurate time. I have a good collection of watches, with a preference for solar/mechanical/automatic. Setting: followed a couple YouTube videos and had zero issues. Plug and play. After yard work, swimming, DIY projects, chainsaw cutting, line trimming, the gym, housework...No issues. Illumination of the hands is minimum but readable thru the night. Like the size. Not a fan of watches under 40mm. Would buy again in a different color.

As seen. Bought this as a replacement for my last watch which was identical to this one. Has lasted me for years with no problem other than basic wear and tear.

It's easy to use the functions, light weight an accurate, easy to read I am 84. Had auto mechanical watches before, this is much lighter, more accurate on time & sets the month automatically for price that's 1/5 of my auto watches. Change the band if don't like it it & it still will be a great buy.

I do own 2 other Casio watches, and I do like them, rugged, tough, look nice. But I Cheap'd out buying this one as it was Solar powered, was curious and wanted to try it out. I'm sure the solar charging works (?) just fine? Idk. Cuz this really is a case of "you get what you pay for", it is cheap, it is very plasticky, and the band and clasp is also plastic, maybe the worst band I've ever had come on a watch. Sad. Mistake #2 was beleaving the description when it says the watch uses a 22 mm. watch band. It Does not, incorrect info. It takes an 18 mm. But I am not going to buy one for it now, as it bothers me that the Band would be more expensive, better built and more useful than the actual watch is. Also, If your eyesight is not the greatest or maybe you're older with slight vision problems, good luck trying to read the time or date at night with the tiny little window at the bottom, which is the only thing that lights up in the dark. That's right, the rest of the watch face is pitch Black except for that tiny window at the bottom.. Not easy to see with sleepy eyes, or in a dark car, or movie theater, etc.. Good luck! I will be returning for a refund.

I am becoming obsessed with watches my brietling was my only watch which was ok but I would never wears it when gardening etc. so I started researching other brands that were capable of taking a hiding.i now have25 watches all Casio and citizen. And one or two seikos . I had to get this little belter from the US as I could not get anything but black in the uk . It’s a fantastic good looking watch I fell I love as soon as I saw it. I will have to get the other two colours without she who must be obeyed finding out. It functions flawlessly it’s light to wear and it has real wrist presence. Friends have asked to see it and are considering getting one. Buy it you wont regret it.

Leve, eficiente e aparentemente robusto. Estou bastante satisfeito com o relógio. Excelente para o dia a dia de trabalho.

What an amazing watch. Takes abit of getting used to but i think its brilliant for the price.
