Review: Just can't beat the time tested design of these sprinklers - Top quality product which has worked flawlessly since I got it. I do want to clarify that the photo of the item is that of the 25 model and not 35. The 35 model has a rounded "spoon" style pivoting mechanism vs the square top, bottom, sides style seen in the photo. Other than that the OEM plastic bag wrapper for the item was dirty, little tattered, and some areas of the printing were worn away even though the bag hadn't been opened. Copyright date on the bag was 2007 so I'm guessing the item may have been in a bin for some time; but I've usually found older products to have been better made than newer ones. One other note: I also have some of the plastic construction impact sprinklers from Rainbird and thought it was odd they seemed to work really fast. This model and the 25 version are the slower operating ones you often see used in orchards and vineyards. Evidently the plastic versions, with their lighter mass, just react a lot faster. So, if you like the slow, very pleasing, lazy day sound you'll want the metal impact sprinklers. I wouldn't hesitate a minute to buy another one of these.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Sprinkler won't cover a full circle? I purchased one of these, but it won't cover a full circle - seems to leave about a 10 degree area unwatered.**
A: Can you make the sprinkler head move 360 degrees by hand? If you look at the sprinkler head is the "stop peg" holding the complete circle? You might have dirt in the head and if you rotate it by hand it should free it up.

**Q: Is there a place where you can buy replacement nozzles of smaller size. i need to get GPM down a bit to match well**
A: If you know of an irrigation supply company they may have them. Unless you get into the really big sprinklers the threads and everything are all the same. The Gilmore nozzles will fit the rainbirds. At least on the ones I have they interchange. I run a gasoline powered pump from the creek an try and put out as much water as possible. That is why I don't like the new rainbirds I bought. They turn entirely to fast. If the cheap plastic sprinlers have a screw in nozzle they will work and are probably a lot smaller. I have one I will try if you want to email me back later at geldreth@charter.net. Hope this helps.

**Q: How does it preform in low hose pressure?**
A: The P5-R Plus model has a total or 5 nozzles so you can change out/customize the nozzle to your water pressure and gallons per minute to provide the best possible spray pattern. This is perfect for low-pressure applications.

**Q: Does this go right into the ground, or do I need to buy a separate 'stand' for it?  Thank you.**
A: you need separate stand for it. I bought "Orbit 1/2-Inch Metal Ring Sprinkler Base 58030" they go well with it. These sprinklers worked well for me, they work the way sprinklers should work easy to adjust the angle and i get good water force (city water). Good luck.

I’ve used many impact sprinklers in the past. This one is THE BEST. Excellent coverage (great “curtain” of water), heavy duty, well-built, no games construction. Instead of a series of smaller plastic sprinklers involving lots of valves, digging, and plumbing I was able to install two well-placed sprinklers and my entire front yard is covered and covered nicely. Very pleased with this sprinkler!
