More Aggravation Than It's Worth...
I used this to try and set a red dot scope on Ruger 10/22. I won't know if I was successful until I can get to the range.First the good. The build quality is decent. That's where the good ends.Contrary to the description, I don't believe this is brass. It might be brass plated, but not brass. It also doesn't come with the promised carry pouch. It comes in a small ziploc baggy, inside a small yellow envelope. That's it. No pouch, and the instructions are inaccurate. This does not fit tightly into the chamber, and the magazine needs to be removed for it to fit at all. It moves around a lot. I mean a lot. The bolt needs to be closed in order to try and hold it in place. You then need to move it around until you have a clean dot. Otherwise you get a reflection of the laser bouncing off the rifling inside the barrel. It took me a good 5 to 7 minutes to get to that point. Once I was ready to start adjusting the settings, the battery started going dead. They're not kidding about only 10 minutes of battery life. How ridiculous is that, since it takes forever to get situated before you can begin? The dot got really dim, but I was able to "zero" it in before it finally went completely dead. Not only was the entire ordeal completely frustrating, you can only, at best, set one scope before new batteries are needed. Like I said earlier, I don't even know if the settings are correct I'm just assuming the dot was straight out of the bore once the reflections were gone and the dot was crisp.I took a chance and bought this before there were any reviews I won't be doing that in the future. This really isn't worth the hassle or frustration. It's definitely not worth the cost of changing batteries every 10 minutes. You're better off doing it the old fashioned way, with a target and a box of ammo. At least until they come up with a better borensighter for a .22LR. I'm not a fan of the type that sticks out of the barrel.Edit: Since I posted my review, the seller removed the Ruger 10/22 from the list of applicable firearms this will work with. They went further and added a photo of a Ruger 10/22 and listed the issues I addressed, as if they were initially upfront about it. They weren't. This information was not there before. It previously said this boresight worked with the Ruger 10/22. They also changed the photo from 10 minutes battery life to 15 minutes. Totally untrue. After 10 minutes the dot is too dim to be of any use, As if it was any actual use before. Even worse, the instructions claim 20 minutes. I'm bothered by this behavior.Second Edit: The product photos have now been updated again. The photo of the Ruger 10/22 using this bore sight has been removed.

4 Star
Hand feeling is excellent and very easy to use. Can be used for a long time, the only downside that is the laser boresight has no switch, only by twisting the handle to switch the laser. Other aspects are outstanding.

Read the fit list carefully
I am not sending it back but it does not fit into S&W 22 AR

did not work with handguns or Ati products
I tried in on a Ruger Mark 3, Browning Buckmark, GSG MP5 clone and GSG STG44 and it not fit in the chamber. I did not try it in a bolt action rifle. It might work perfectly in it.

Too loose in the bore to be of any use.
It fits too loose in the .22lr bore, letting the laser move way too much. I used it to zero in a scope. Went to the range and it was off 8 inches to the right and 3 inches low at 50 yards! I'm hoping to find a better fitting bore sight laser. This one is disappointing.
