So with a prior rating of one 1 star and then a 5 star I figured I had a 50/50 chance of it being good or bad.The verdict: It's bad.When you open the bottle and smell it, it has a decent smell and you think "yes, the 5 star rating was right!" But once you use it/put it on an oil warmer the pumpkin spice smell evaporates within seconds and then you're left with what smells like horrible chemicals and then you think "ok, the 1 star rating was right"... I'd rather inhale bleach, whiteout, or a permanent pen, all of which would smell better.I had to open up my house and turn on all my fans to try to get the horrible sent out. I really wanted to find the neighborhood skunk and persuade it to come in my home and to spray everywhere to make my house smell better again, but alas not even the skunk wanted to come in... I somehow survived to write this review. So please, take this as a warning along with the other 1 star review.If you're curious, give it a shot, but as of now: 2 of 3 reviews say it's bad.

I chose this rating because I had been looking for a frangrance oil that produced a fragrance that smelled liked a baking pumpkin pie. Though the Pumpkin Spice Fragrance is a nice fragrance for autmun, I just didn't get the scent of a baking pumpkin pie as I had hoped for.

I personally can't stand the smell of it. But I also usually only use essential oils, so probably anything beyond that smells unnatural to me. I thought it had a slight aroma of cotton candy only. Other people recognized it right off as pumpkin though, which amazed me. Arrived quick and a good value, so you might as well try it.

I love the smell of pumpkin spice and have a really hard time finding just the scent itself (as opposed to candles). When I open up the bottle, the chemically scent is really strong. I've used it a few times hoping I might get used to it. When I use it the little bit of spicy scent goes away quickly and I'm left with a grossly sweet, fake perfume smell. Keep looking!

The fragrance provided by the pumpkin spice fragrance oil appears to be very weak compared to competing fragrance oils. The cost of the same is not justified.

don't believe the review that says it smells bad b/c it does not. it smells wonderful and i want to get more in other scents. i use this in my Scentcy wall plug-in and like the smell better than the Scentcy wax products.

Smells wonderful, like a pumpkin pie is in the oven. I can't use aerosol sprays so use oil burner to give the house a nice smell, especially after cooking fish, onions, etc. The price was good, and we are enjoying the nice fragrance.
