The Sound of Music Paperback – January 1, 1981

This is a really great book! You can actually use the arrangements! Not too difficult but not for beginners. With that said, beginners should definitely get a copy. If this book ever goes out of print, it will be your loss!

I purchased this music as a birthday gift and it is exactly what we were looking for - fingerstyle guitar, just like it says.

I love it!

This is a beautiful medley arrangement of music from The Sound of Music. It retains the character of Rogers' original orchestrations. My favorite part of the piece is the arrangement of "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," and I wish that bit went on for longer. This piece presents a good challenge for a late intermediate or early advanced pianist.

I took a long time to get delivered and when it finally came it was all wrinkled and wet.It was a piano book for my daughter who just started to play. For her it doesn't matter that it was all wrinkled.I would have send it back but my daughter didn't want to wait for another 3 weeks for a new book. She is very happy with it!
