Mr. Bar-B-Q Double Burger Press

Bought this to replace the one I had. My wife put the old one in the dishwasher and it warped. We liked this burger press because we could do 2 burgers at once fairly easily. It does take a little force to make this work. I measure the beef and flatten by hand before pressing. The burgers pop out easily with the flexible discs that sit on the bottom of the acrylic mold, you just flip them over spread the tabs and give the pattys a shake. The last thing I would do is use oil or cooking spray thinking it will make them easier to remove because you will increase surface tension holding the burger in the mold and stop the ability of air to escape when you press the burger.

Even using non stick spray, still sticks. Won't flatten the meat either, and I tried pressing it as much as I could. I somehow doubt I'll use this again. Very disappointed.ETA to remove another star. I put it in the top rack of my dishwasher and came out coated in white. Not sure if it's the non stick spray I used (that didn't work), or the fat from the meat (that totally stuck), but I immediately tossed the whole thing in the trash. At least I only paid $6 for it. As for all these 5 star reviews? You either work for the company or you were given money or gifts to praise it. This thing is worthless!

This burger press is the best! I am very glad I bought it for my house hold. Every BBQ we make the perfect burger, meaty without being overwhelmed with meat type of porportion.I would recommend this press for anyone who enjoys grilling and would rather buy your meats in bulk or larger batches to create your own perfect burger.

Why buy the premade beef patties when you can make your own and save a couple bucks on burgers every time? This was hard to find, too, as most presses I found in my search were for stuffed burgers, whereas this is just for patties.

really like this. I use it for veggie burgers. Veggie burgers do not always stay together well, and this press makes them stay together better/ Nice and large as well.

I haven't used it yet, but it seems very sturdy. I am happy with this purchase and can not wait to try it with the veggie burger recipe that recommended this burger press.

I wish the burger press was a little smaller. I am making vegan patties and they don't shrink like meat. I am sure the burgers are the perfect size using meat when strinkage happens.
