Does the magnetic come on when purchased or do I have to cut and add the magnetic part?

The letters all come with magnets already attached. It’s a great set. Well made.

What activities do you use these in?

Free play: let the children maneuver the letters on the magnetic board (or fridge or cookie sheet pan!) just to let them play! Guided play: spelling out their names with the letters(uppercase, lowercase, or a mix); spelling out 2 and 3 letter words (in, at, go, cat, sat) and going over the words with the child; placing pictures out and also spelling out the word that represents the picture; placing colors out and spelling out the color word; having pictures of words and then letting the child spell/match the letters to make the word These are just a few things I use the letters for! There are SO many other ideas and activities they can be used with, especially since there are upper and lowercase letters to work with!!
