Well executed design., reasonably priced
There are so many times that I should have had some sort of tool lanyard. Despite my best efforts, the waters surrounding our vessel are littered with hand tools. I picked this particular lanyard in that I had hoped it was the right size, some are too small. Perfect fit. Having used the lanyard, I can testify that it is simple to attach your tool, or whatever. The elastic nature of the lanyard is an appreciated addition, it keeps the lanyard from tangling.

Nice product, a little lighter duty that I expected but good enough for what I needed this time
Nice product, a little lighter duty that I expected but good enough for what I needed this time. I cant complain because it was pretty reasonably priced

used mine for pruners while horseback riding...
These work perfectly! I use them in case I drop my hand pruners while trail riding/clearing...I LOVE it! It seems to be made really well and solid, and yes, I've dropped my pruners a couple of times and was happy to have had this hooked to them. It has multiple uses...not just tools...

Solid tether for heavier tools
Appears to be solidly made. I liked the fact that it had a 22lb rating as I would be using this with a battery powered right angle drill for conduit holes. The tool weighs 14lbs with batteries and most tethers I found only had a 15lb limit. I haven't tested it yet too confirm it could hold the weight. I'll update when I test the tool with the tether.

Very useful for SUP.
Used to keep a dry bag attached to a stand up paddle board. Worked great and was useful to tie off to trees during rest stops or while fishing. Will buy again.

Best lanyard ive bought for light tools (under 2lbs)
Im sure this is rated for heavier things than 2lbs but the reason i titled it this way is because the carabiner's gate is a little chincy and loose. It slides open very easily which is a plus because I can hook onto tools with one hand, but i fear it may not shut well one day due to user error and fall out. I want to hear a crisp click when it shuts. Otherwise the bungee is the best ive ever used, seriously it feels like butter when you are spinning the tools while its stretched. Find a way to change out the carabiner and its perfect.

Prevent dropping expensive tools.
I like the idea I can attach lanyard to tool while working 40 ft. above ground to prevent dropping onto something or someone below. Very good and easy to use.

Good lanyard, defective carabiners. No CE or ANSI
The lanyard itself is pretty great: durable, solid stitching throughout, and stays out of your way when clippee back and out of use. That quality is what makes it such a shame that the carabiners are absolute trash. First, they aren't at all rated. I have no idea if they could survive a dropped tool because there's no indication of Kn or Lbs. What good is a safety if it can simply snap upon a shock load? Second, they feel cheap. The movement of the gates feels gritty, and the swivel often catches mid rotation. The gate lockers also have a tendency to only open about 95 percent of the way forcing you to fully close, then re-engage the mechanism in order to open the carabiners. Finally, two of the carabiners malfunctioned within two days of use: one retention clip fell out leaving a caribeaner held closed only by the gate lock. And another caribeaner dropped the rotation spring so the gate lock would not automatically close. If you like the lanyard and trust it, inspite of no CE or ANSI rating, I would recommend getting rid of the carabiners and replacing them with something a little more well put together.

Well made lanyard
This little lanyard is actually pretty awesome, I'm using it to connect my lineman wrench to my climbing belt. Already saved me a climb down the pole to retrieve the dropped wrench. The wrench weighs 21oz and it was dropped from above my head height and the lanyard doesnt show signs of strain or damage from catching the tool. 10/10 would recommend
