Tuga Girls Swim Shorts 1-14 Years, UPF 50+ Sun Protection Board Short

I got these for my almost 7 year old daughter, and she loves them. They do seem to run a bit small as I had to get her the size 8-10. Based on the measurements from Tuga, she would be a 6-7, but she has a stocky/athletic build, so I sized up. I'm glad I did! These are fully lined, front and back, and are not see through at all. I love to see her running and playing in her swimsuit without anything riding up and no exposed cheeks. She is about 46" tall, weighs 52 lbs and wears sizes 6-8 depending on the brand and style.

My daughter is 9 years old and weighs 61 lbs. She normally wears a girls 7 in most brands because she's so lean. I bought a size larger than I normally would based on some of the comments. Well, a size 8/10 was still a bit small on her. they seem like a great pair of swim shorts, so I will be buying the next size up. I'm thinking they may be a bit large on her, but I'd rather her have a little extra room to grow in these... especially since they have working drawstring.

I ordered a size 12 and it actually fits my very skinny 7 year old (who wears a size 7). I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the sizing issue. The bathing suit was also ordered from Amazon and it arrived too small. (Also a size 12)

I read the reviews and saw that they ran small, so I ordered a size 11-12 yrs for my slim 10 yr old who normally wears a size 10 in most clothes. They were way too small & tight on her. I sent them back and ordered a size 13-14 yrs old. She can wear them, but there's no room for growth. I think we'll be lucky if we get one summer of wear out of them. The pink color is very pretty & vibrant which she likes.

I bought two of these, shorts and tops, for my granddaughter and niece. The girls think they're cute and comfortable., they fit well. They played in the water for several hours on a sunny day and even my fair skinned granddaughter did not burn, except on her face which was covered with sunscreen but not any part of the toga clothing!!

I ordered a 6-7 for my 5.5 year old. She is on the tall side and wears a size six in clothes. The shirt was big - fit ok with enough room to grown in. Especially the sleeves were long. She can use the shirt. However the shorts fit but snug. She could probably use them this summer only. Too expensive to get just a few wears from them. Sending them back. Size up if ordering shorts.

These swim short seem well made, the fabric looks just like on the pictures and the inside liner is soft. Unfortunately I have to return them because the size 13-14 was too small for my daughter who is 11 and a half years old and is just outgrowning her size 12 clothes. I wish these shorts came in a larger size so we could have a matching set with the rashguard.

This is a great product. The quality of fabric is good, the drawstring is functional, the length of the shorts is great. You will NEED to size up. My daughter is 4 years old, 45lbs, regularly wears a size 6, and I bought her the 8-10yr size and it fits perfect. So when in doubt, size up!
