Apparently slugs dislike crawling over copper. I am all for giving them a hard time. I put this strip around pots and trays where seeds are sown or seedlings planted. The copper strip that I have bought for the purpose from the pound shop is much wider (but thinner) than this; but works out much more expensive. It also does not last well to a second season. This product seems to work. It is also slightly easier to apply to a sloping pot (as it is fairly strong).

I am very pleased with this product as it is exactly as described, the important part for me was that the adhesive is conductive and thus will be effective in using this tape for RF shielding, and also creating/repairing circuits, specifically keyboard membranes on retro computers. This is the third time I have bought copper tape (each from different listings on Amazon) and this is the only one which actually has conductive adhesive. The other two listings claimed it was but it turned out not to be the case. So if this is what you are looking for, save yourself a lot of bother and get this one.

We have a huge slug population that dine on my gourmet helenium flowers amongst other things! I have therefore used this to put around the plants to prevent them from munching my plants to nothing - so far so good. I just wish that I had bought a wider tape but because it is easy to use I managed to decorate my plant pots easily even if it took longer. Delivered on time, packaged well and as described.

I purchased this specifically as it is advertised as having conductive adhesive.It does not conduct on the adhesive side at all. Multimeter reads OL on the adhesive side sadly.

I bought it in a vain attempt to stop slugs eating my plants, they didn't care one bit about it! Probably good for the intended purpose tho. They were applied to planters outside and have managed a fair few months out in the cold and rain without peeling off.

Arrived quickly. I like the way the rolls were separated with tissue to prevent any sticking together. Be careful of fingers when using copper is sharp , I found out the hard way! Not sure if it has stopped the clubs and snails as yet but definitely worth a try.

Got this to experiment with paper/card/folding circuits. It does work very well, and is very sticky. Despite this, and I guess is to be expected, connection to components can be temperamental and require squeezing them all back occasionally... So I would recommend something else to use along with this to make more permanent connections if you need them, maybe conductive glue or something (haven't tested this idea.)

Absolutely brilliant addition to my anti snail and slug garden additions. Really worked well, there's loads of it and it stays where you put it on pots and areas vulnerable to munching.
