I tried using these adapters to connect a 10 feet long USB-C cable extension to my MacBook and devices, but my cable wire did not work. I even tried connecting the adapters to my actual MacBook Pro charging wire to my actual iPad Pro charging wire together, but still nothing. Then I tried using these adapters to connect 8 inch USB-C extension wires together to plug one end into my MacBook and the other end in my desktop charger. Works as expected and my Nexus 6p does rapid charge correctly.Only issue is that you have to plug in both cables into this adapter in the same direction in order for it to work, which feels strange given that usb-c is symmetrical. My cables had logos on one side, and I discovered that I had to have both logos up or both logos down. If I did one up and one down, the phone would not connect to the charger.
