Hat Band Kangaroo Leather 6 Strand Braided 15mm Wide

The hat band on my Stetson Airway  Stetson Men's Stetson Airway Vented Panama Straw Hat, Natural, Large  got brittle and broke so I went looking for a replacement. The idea of a quality handmade product from a micro business appealed to me and I thought this band would look great so I went for it, despite the shipping cost and the potential hassles of returning this purchase to an outfit in Australia. When it arrived, I saw I was right about the quality but argggh!--I didn't realize I ordered black instead of brown. I contacted Badgery Belts and they graciously arranged to make it right. A good measure of the integrity of a business is how they respond to customer problems and complaints and by that standard, BB is awesome. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. One note: the brown band I received was a bit on the short side--it worked but I would have liked a bit more overlap. That said, I have a huge head (the XL Airway just fits) so the band I got was pushed to the upper limit of the size range. But don't let that discourage you. You can email the owner and let him know you are a special needs hat wearer :) and I'll wager he'll do you right.

Just received today. Love it on my Stetson (stratoliner) received a few days early. Just slipped it over the original hat band and pulled it up tight.
