Direct replacement for 2010 Ford Escape easy install

This item that. I purchased for my Mazda Tribute fit my truck perfectly and the price was just right. Very easy to install.

Watched YouTube video on how to install. Video was little over 3 minutes and he recommended buying from Amazon. Now it latches again.

Anyone needed to replace this part should do it themselves. Watch the short video and order the part. In less than 30 minutes I had the old one out and the new one in. I saved more than $300 doing it myself verse taking it to the dealership. 7 screws and some clips and it is completed.

Doesn't come with instructions, but if you are buying it from here you have already watched a video or two on what needs to be done. Installation was easy once you get the old one out. The auto repair shop would have charged me 3 times what they paid for it and at $75/hr for a mechanic, this saved me a ton of money.

Received this and installed it right away. There are You Tube videos on how to remove the back panel on older model Escape rear hatch doors. Open the glass door, lift the hatch and it basically snaps off and then back on. When you have that off replacing the actuator is a piece of cake. 3 screws on and 3 screws off. They are torx bit so you'll have to fiddle to find the right size. Use a socket type bit and socket wrench to loosen. The screws are on tightly and you don't want to strip them. It's been on for about 2-3 months and the door lock mechanism works just fine.

This saves me from $$$! I can't believe how cheap and incredibly looks premium. It really looks exactly like the stock product. I just put on my Ford Escape 2010 and so far it is not letting me down. I will come back for another review if something wrong happen.
