No way am I going back to buttons or motion controls! And it works on PC!
I bought Taiko no tetsujin and at first tried both motion controls and buttons. The buttons are boring and the motion controls are imprecise, either not reading at all, reading when you don't want it to, or reading the wrong motion. This little drum solved all of those problems. It's feels tough and its pretty responsive, the only goofs so far are due to my skill level as I'm still learning. And while I wanted the Hori controller with the buttons in the drum face I actually like the little controller it has wired in for making selections. Plus, and I don't know why I tried this, but you CAN play NES games using the mini game pad, so that's neat I guess. The drum itself has a nice feeling rubber surface that makes a nice sound when struck, the base being made of plastic. The base snapped together easily enough and has rubber feet. The drum also have rubber feet on the underside in case you want to lay it flat.I did get curious to see if this drum can be used on PC to play Osu!taiko and to my delight it can! You just plug it in and it recognizes the controller as a 360 controller, then you map the drum face and rim and presto, Taiko controller for the PC. It seems like it might need some tweaking to my skill level needs to increase, but it's great to use it on more than one game.My only complaint would be the Bachi sticks that come with it. They're hollow plastic and lack any weight to them, so I may get a pair of wooden ones to play with, but they feel durable enough and while I haven't owned the set long I haven't broken anything yet.Over all this is pretty much the definitive way to play and is way worth it, and being able to play Osu!taiko on PC with it is a huge bonus.

Great alternative to the HORI brand.
The drum is responsive and is precise when notes are tapped; player just needs a slight firmness when striking notes. The material is light; the drum stand and base are made of plastic, but the drum surface is made of smooth rubber. In addition, it comes with a neat controller pad that lets you select options or songs. It's separate from the drum base, which promotes a clean surface. The USB connection cord is also good, with a generous length of about 3 meters (little less than 9 feet). In addition, it comes with a USB-C adapter if you were to play this portably.Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase for it's price. It's simple and to the point.

Worked great but...
It worked great for the first 2-3 weeks then the right side of the face became unresponsive.
