I love these kind of can openers. Feels more sanitary because your lid doesn't fall into the can. Also you don't have the sharp edges.

The can opener never worked well, and within a year was not working at all. It didn’t have a good grip. I don’t recommend this product.

I purchased this can opener on August 4, 2018 and today (May 29, 2019) it doesn't work. It never worked great, but at this point I can't even open a can with it. This is the second smooth edge can opener that I've owned. The previous one was a name brand and it worked great. This one was terrible. I cannot recommend it. I'm planning to pay more and get a name brand the next time.

It is actually a really cool kitchen item. I don't know why so many bad reviews said it is too hard to use

This can opener looked great, and I was anxious to try it out. Unfortunately, on almost every can I've tried it on, it starts to slip, and no matter how much I squeeze the handles, it just won't finish cutting all the way around the can. I've tried it on a lot of different types of cans, with the same failed result. It now sits on a shelf in my garage as sort of a non-kinetic symbol of failure. I wouldn't recommend this can opener, unless you are looking for an oddly shaped paper weight.
