Six 4x4 Birch Wood Block Painting Panels by Backyard Art - Perfect Canvas Alternative Requires No Priming

Pricey but the quality is good. I buy lots of wood panels for my art. I needed some of this size and needed them fast. Normally, I would go someplace else because $40 for 6-4”x4” panels is a lot. I can find 8”x8” for less money. Having said all that, these ARE nice. No splintering, all of the edges are perfect and even the bottom was sanded. Very consistent.I gave only 4 stars for the price seemed high to me.

These arrived on time and exactly as pictured — they are smooth, good quality wood panels. I work on paper and affix the sheets using PVA glue, so I can’t speak to how well you can work on them directly (but think you easily can). Overall, very pleased, although I wish they were a few bucks cheaper.

These blocks are wonderful for small-art projects. I stain them, then adhere my art to the front. They are the only ones with these dimensions I’ve found. The wood grain varies, but they are very nice quality.
