Don’t sell/buy the product outside US
This device requires home address and phone number in the United States to activate. Otherwise, you cannot even reach at the home launcher screen. If you successfully complete setup, still you need to be recognized as residing in the states to watch US contents and services.アメリカのアマゾンで購入しました。このデバイスをアクティベートするには、アメリカの住所と電話番号を入力する必要があります。アクティベートしないと普通のAndroid TV としても使えないので注意が必要です。アクティベートが終わってもTiVo がアグリゲートしたサービスやコンテンツを視聴するにはアメリカ国内からのアクセスと認識される必要があり、米国外からで有ればVPNのインストール等が必要です。最初からそれを認識して対処できる人のみ購入するべきで、注意書き無しで米国外にマージンをとって並行輸入販売する販売者には問題ありと思います。TiVoの商品そのものには全く問題ありません。
