Q: Is this light coverage like a bb cream?

It is light coverage and better than the brand BB. Plus it takes very little for full coverage and it leaves your skin glowing and vibrant! Q: Im fair ivory should I get fair or fair light?

I'm light medium and I got the light medium and it matched really well. I use it as a foundation alone when I'm in a hurry, but it doesn't have a lot of coverage. More of a glow booster. I think fair light would be more for ivory, but really either would be ok, it's pretty sheer.
