I'm a suppliment guy in my late 40s with two small kids, so I need all the help I can get. I discovered Ashwagandha some years ago, and love it for its anti-anxiety and sleep benefits. One of the issues with many Ashwagandha supplements on the market is the market is that you never quite know what you're getting. Many studies have been done on products that come from overseas that have little to no active ingredients, which is why I do my research.Double Wood is a reputable companyaking suppliments in the US, is GMP certified, and 3rd-party tested, which is pretty much the trifecta for me. (I also happen to use their Baccopa, as well.) In addition, this is made with KSM-66. When KSM-66 hit the market, it became the only form of Ashwagandha I'd take. For those not familiar, it's a proprietary Ashwagandha extract (can't remember who makes it) that is standardized. That way, you know you're getting exactly what you're paying for.My usual brand of KSM-66 is the same dose as this, but in one capsule, and I've not noticed in difference in effect when taking these. I actually prefer having two caps be 600mg, because it allows me to split the doses between morning and evening. Usually, I just take the other brand in the evening after dinner, and I like having the effects spread throughout the day.For those who've not tried Ashwagandha, I'd highly recommend it. Being an adaptogen, it helps your body cope with stretch. Just pull up the studies. The effectiveness is pretty hard to dispute at this point. I finally got my wife to start taking Ashwagandha and l-theanine. She's a high-anxiety, hypertensive individual, and while she says she can't really feel anything when taking it, she can tell a difference on the days she doesn't. That's the brilliance of it to me. It doesn't make you feel sluggish or cloud your head, just provides some relief when it comes to stress and being overwhelmed.Overall, I'd highly recommend this product to anyone. It's a high-quality form of Ashwagandha from a solid US company, and the price is probably about as low as you'll see for what you get. For me, this is a no-brainer, and I'll personally probably be switching brands once I do take a closer look at the cost comparisons. 5 stars all the way.

I'm always cautious about any supplements I ingest, and this Doublewood KSM-66 is no exception.Although not on the bottle label, the seller's website has every product listed with either a Certificate of Analysis or a 3rd Party Test result. For this particular product, the 3rd party test conforms. Also, per the website the capsules are Made in the USA. To get more information, the seller's website info is listed on the label.Based upon the above information, and the fact that I have been wanting to try this particular formulation of Ashwagandha, I ordered the KSM-66. The capsules are a light tan color, are easy to swallow, and don't have any odd odor.I haven't yet noticed any difference as Ashwagandha takes a bit of time to assimilate into the body (hence the term, Adaptogen) and it's been too soon to tell. However, the price is right at $9.99 for a 2 month supply, and I would definitely order again.

I’ve used various DoubleWood supplements over the years. They are always a good value and I’ve seen a few of them independently tested on various blog sites with positive results.I don’t like the fillers they add to a lot of their supplements (this one included) but honestly, it’s something you find more often than not in many brands.KSM66 is an exceptional, potent, standardized form of ashwagandha that I’ve used a lot. These pills look and smells as they should and are a great price.I don’t respond strongly to supplements and considering I’ve been taking ashwagandha off and on for years I don’t expect to notice a difference when taking these. So in determining the quality of a supplement I like to look for company info/transparency and testing etc.Because I’ve looked into this company and know them from prior use, I trust them. And I would recommend it to others.

I have been wanting to try KSM-66 for a while and have read a lot about this form of ashwagandha as well as the Sensoril form (KSM-66 is pure root where as Sensoril is root and leaf). I am very familiar with Double Wood Supplements having used their products in the past and have found them to be a conscientious and trustworthy company so I was excited see KSM-66 made by them. I was even more so happy see the pricing as usually KSM-66 is a bit expensive for ashwagandha, so I ordered this instantly. The dosing is exactly what was used in the clinical studies so that is nice, and this bottle is a two month supply so that is also nice, don't have to re-order as frequently. It has been a few days now and no there has been no improvement in feelings of anxiety yet but I understand that it is with consistent use that KSM-66 will start to make a difference, with having been in a constant fight or flight state for years the body has a lot to come down from before any differences can be detected. So, I'll just keep plugging away at it with this because I can do so affordably now.

I like Doublewood supplements and have used several in my stack over the years because I always find them to be good quality and value. This is no different. KSM has become somewhat commoditized but even so, this is still a good value from a company I have used in the past. Go ahead and try this one if you are interested in teh benefits of Ashwaganda.

I've been taking Ashwagandha for years. This version contains 5% total withanolides which is not always the case in an Ashwagandha formulation but is my preference. My daily dosage is typically 500mg so when a formulation of Ashwagandha suggests 2 capsules for a total of 1000mg I take 1 capsule. In this case the suggested dosage is 2 capsules for a total of 600mg so I'll be taking the suggested 2 capsules.Aside from Ashwagandha supplements containing 5% total withanolides they can also contain a form of black pepper but that's not the case with this version.
