But recently I had to chop onions with it, and it took two medium-sized onions, quartered, so they’d chop more easily. Suggest you don’t overfill if you want better results. It’s an excellent piece of kit. **Q: Is it good for chopping small amounts i.e. a couple of garlic cloves, or just one onion?** A: I have had success chopping less than a clove of garlic. I do this often and sometimes i add a bit of coarse salt to help. **Q: Can this run for at least 2 mins without having to turn it off to avoid motor burnout?** A: People shouldn't offer advice or answer questions without reading the instruction manual.
