I bought this product to use as a travel adaptor so I can connect to hdmi screens, wired networks and so on with my space grey 2018 Mac book pro.It’s an excellent product, and great value for money. I find I don’t use usb very often but that’s really a function of technology development and the way things are moving. The Ethernet connection works reliably and is fast. Mini display works with my old apple 24” Cinema Display, and I can connect the screen’s usb to push sound to the speakers.The unit does get quite warm and if you don’t connect your charger to it does draw power reasonably heavily but bear in mind you might well be using it for heavy data transfer so activity will naturally be higher on any case.The only downside I can see is if you want this to be a permanent desk dock the connecting cable is quite short so you can’t put the device behind your Mac or a screen very easily. But that’s a small factor given the superb value

I was trying to free up ports. I currently have a hub with network and USB. I also have a separate mini display port adaptor. My current Lenovo hub the network will not wake after sleeping. I ordered this to combine it into 1 device.The network port did NOT work. My MAC refused to show the USB 10/100 LAN connection.The mini display port does not work with my 27 inch LED cinema display with mini display port (not Thunderbolt), it displayed at very low resolution. Apparently this is stated on the product page but I did not see it.Very disappointing.Seller offered me £20 to change my review, I refused and was told a replacement would be provided if I gave 5 stars which I refused to do without testing. Bad product and bad seller.

Purchased two of these. Video output on one failed after two months of use. Was being used continually and devices run hot... seems like wiring fried? In any case not reliable.Edit: Retailer has sent new unit. Will update once received.

Nice little piece of kit. This is the second one of this type I tried. This one worked straight out of the box, very pleased. The other product was a bit unreliable. Connects my Apple LED Display to my new MacBook Pro via one of the usb C ports. Had no trouble with it for 2 months now.

I bought this to use with my MacBook 12” and my Dell U2711 screen. The hub works beautifully, expanding my USB connections, charging my MacBook and giving me a card reader. Both the HDMI and DisplayPort connectors produce a quality image on my monitor. The flexible cable is also great, ensuring the connection remains even if the computer is moved. The only minor drawback is that the DisplayPort seems to transport picture only, the sound does not come out of the Dell sound connectors.Customer service was responsive and did their best to help. Sadly, that didn't change the technology issue.

A bit on the expensive side but works very well with a 2019 MacBook Pro and a 27" cinema display.

This works where Apple products fail.2018 MPB 15" has huge trouble driving Apple Cinema Displays or iMacs as 2nd monitors. There's lots of discussion on this. This works for me being able to drive my late-2009 iMac as a 2nd monitor through its mini Display Port connection.Hopefully that info can save people the hours of tedium I spent trying to resolve this.

This is a good hub, with all ports working as expected. I had some issues with a loose connection, but customer service are working through this and very responsive.

Nur wenige bieten das gleichzeitig: HDMI und Mini Display Port und Gigabit-Ethernet, USB3, SD-Kartenslot ... - wie für meine Belange gemacht.USB-C "nur" als PD-Ladeport reicht für mich. Es sind ja noch drei USB-C Anschlüsse direkt am MBP frei. Wenn ich Geräte mit größerem Durchsatz als 5Gbbs via USB 3 betreiben will, schließe ich sie mit passendem Adapterkabel direkt ans MBP an. Bisher keinerlei Probleme festgestellt, auch nicht hinsichtlich der Stärke des Ladestroms.Fazit: sieht prima aus, ist gut verarbeitet, ultrakompakt und leicht und liefert alle Funktionen, die ich aktuell brauche. Und das bei einem aus meiner Sicht sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Was will ich mehr?

When connected (using the hdmi output together) to a 2018 MacBook pro 15', it destroys the bluetooth functionality and the mouse becomes jerky. It also becomes very hot and the hdmi quality is horrible. Cannot understand why such a high price on a such a cheap peace and not well engineered item. At least the customer support is really helpful and they offered a full refund for my purchase.

It looks great also works great, and it has allowed me to simplify the connection of cables on my desk with a single cable into my MacBook Pro (15", 2018).It's attractive with small and elegant.(See my picture below)It does not look like a large metal brick sitting on your desk.Finally, I'd like to say my experience with their support has been very positive. I went a little bit nuts with research on docks, so before buying I sent them a lot of detailed questions inquiry about quanlity and warranty for the USB-C spec. I got a very detailed answer in response from their service in time. That's support.After getting the device, I was seeing glitches on my display. Support worked with me to troubleshoot the problem, quickly sent me a new dock, and helped me figure out that, in the end, it was because I was using a faulty Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable, and not because of any problem with the dock. It all now works flawlessly.In conclusion, , this is a high quality, well-designed product, it does a lot more than many competing offerings, I believe what it does is actually closer to what many people need. Und jetzt nach Gebrauch finde ich es noch immer so gut. Funktioniert ohne Fehler, ohne Verspätung .Passt in jede kleine Tasche ein, UND kann mich ENDLICH mit einen Kabel an das INTERNET ANSCHLIEßEN und die volle GESCHWINDIGKEIT verwenden (,,für die ich seit JAHRE ZAHLE aber nie voll benutzt :)) '' ). 5 STERNE Alter!!!
