Exploring Minds 6 Pound Rotary Dual Drum Rock Tumbler

For the size and price this rock Tumblr does great just put in our final round of polish! I took one star off due to the value and it has squeak when you run it.

I followed all directions carefully. It seemed to be doing a good job on the first two steps, grit 1 and grit two. When I rinsed grit 2 and added the third stage, the motor would not run - it just hummed. Nothing I did would make it work. So this machine did not even polish one batch of rocks before it died. Very sad to have have finished rocks!

Super happy I ordered the double tumbler because I can do twice as much tumbling, cutting my wait time in half.I uses this for tumbling glass, and it works GREAT! Small adjustments are needed if it squeaks because it's a simple realization that the bumper needs to be adjusted further or closer.I only wish it came in a larger size at the same cost. : )

I am having problems with the belt breaking. I got it a week ago and I just replaced a belt for the second time. I adjusted the the adjusting plate to all the way over to the left so the belt will be lose. I am starting to think it might have something to do with the stop bar near the motor. What position should this be in? I cannot extend it fully out since it is too long. Other than this problem which I believe I can get worked out it's great. It's about as loud as my lortane 33B dual barrel tumbler for a third of the price! They did give 5 replacement belts. So if I can figure out how to ensure smooth operation and adjust the stop bar correctly I would give it 5 stars.

The thing broke toward the end of my FIRST BATCH of stones. Started making a horrible noise and chewing through a belt a day. Sat up all winter and still doesn't work properly a year later. Useless junk good for half a use.Edit: Company sent me some cookie cutter bogus message just to notify me they werent willing to help me at all. Useless junk and terrible seller. This is by far my worst purchase on Amazon and I buy a LOT of stuff on Amazon. What an unbelievable disappointment. I FEEL LIKE I GOT ROBBED.Note to seller: Go back to whatever you were doing before this. Dishonest seller and useless junk!!

belts keep breaking

The rock tub isn't holding a seal how do I replace the top seals?

I purchased 2 of these machines and on the maiden voyage of both I had to replace the belts and the motor in one was completely fried. Piece of garbage do not buy.
